21.01.2022 Karabil Asis & John were successful again at Neville 80km 1st HW & second across the line. He is a very tough little horse & a fairly hard ride for his first of the season.

21.01.2022 June 19 was a very sad day as our beautiful big stallion Karabil Tagera was found dead in his paddock. His memory will live on through his beautiful progeny. I miss seeing him leaning over his gate talking to the mares & foals.

21.01.2022 Not to be out done Pevensey Rawonda (Wonders Never Cease X Pevensey Raisa) foaled a tall lemon chest colt the next morning (Sun) by Karabil Ganbarr (Karabil Tagera x Gold by Moonlight).

20.01.2022 Our 1st foal for 2017 is a bay filly - Karabil Artepe - (Meadow View Ellusive x Karabil Artippa) born 8am 12th Oct.

19.01.2022 Very sad day today, One of our all time favourite mares was found dead in the paddock today. Heste Arabique Brienna died aged 19. Mother of 12 foals, 9 were by Karabil Tagera & they have all had the most amazing temperaments. The paddocks wont be the same without our beautiful white lady. Sadly missed after owning her for 16 years.

19.01.2022 Karabil Ganbarr has another lovely filly. This time out of a big mare who is probably a thoroughbred. The owners are thrilled with her.

19.01.2022 Karabil Artippa ( Salam Kadesh x Karabil Arika) foaled early Sat. morning - a tall very dark chest filly by Meadow View Ellusive (Braheem x Fair Beginning). Got some great photos of her first getting to her feet with the wobbly boot on!

18.01.2022 Finally game to post photos of our newest youngster, George as he is known as at the moment has had a very hard start to life. Born 3 weeks ago today but his mother wouldnt feed him (she still doesnt like him too close & will only let him drink if she is held). George has been supplementary bottle fed to keep his milk intake up. He is feeling pretty good by the laps of the paddock he was doing today!

17.01.2022 Went to see the proposed suitor for my favourite arab mare,Karabil Banjora, this morning. He is just gorgeous. His name is Rocky & he is an Australian Draught Horse with an amazing temperament.

17.01.2022 John & Karabil Asis had another very successful weekend at the Wingello 80km ride coming 1st HW & 3rd across the line in 4.09. Thanks to Bec Hogan for a well run ride & John Dawson ( Jon-de-Le Arabians) for sponsoring the 1st HW trophy & rug,& livinghorsesgraphics for the voucher for 3rd across the line.

17.01.2022 My long awaited foal from Karabil Banjora arrived today (7 days overdue) & by 'Rocky' the Australian Draught Horse stallion. A big strong bay colt. A great birthday present.

16.01.2022 Karabil Asis & John were again a very successful partnership at the Burraga Copper Challenge - 1st HW & Fittest Horse & line honours with Scott Peters on Stoodleigh Colonial Boy who were 1st Mw & Fittest Horse. Scotts horse is out of a daughter of Asiss dam Karabil Arrilla!

15.01.2022 John & Karabil Asis had another very successful weekend at the Mudgee endurance ride finishing equal 1st line honours with MW Ellie Madick, 1st HW & Fittest horse in 4.19 with HR 40. Photos at Fittest Horse with Asis showing his usual distaste of being saddled up again!

15.01.2022 Our beautiful 69.92% Crabbet filly, Karabil Palima (pend) (Karabil Ganbarr x Pevensey Pamira) was born 2/8/20 on a very icy morning & has been through some extremely cold weather, including snow for 2 days, but she is thriving. The head shots taken only a few days ago show her displeasure after her first lesson with a headstall!

15.01.2022 Our beautiful 44.92% Crabbet filly, Karabil Palima (pend) (Karabil Ganbarr x Pevensey Pamira) was born 2/8/20 on a very icy morning & has been through some extremely cold weather, including snow for 2 days, but she is thriving. The head shots taken only a few days ago show her displeasure after her first lesson with a headstall!

14.01.2022 Currowan 80km was a very successful weekend for Karabil Arabians. John & Karabil Asis were equal 1st & line honours with Kerry Alderton in 5hrs 17min.& 1st HW & Best Conditioned HW. John Symons was 2nd MW in 5.37 riding Ruby Rose who is by Karabil Tagera. Many thanks to all the organisers who ran a very good ride & all the sponsors (especially John Dawson of Jon-de-Le Arabians who sponsored the 1st HW Best Conditioned rug).

12.01.2022 11 days overdue but Karabil Banjora (Karabil Tagera x Heste Arabique Brienna) finally produced a chestnut colt on17th Nov. This lad will be called Banjeeri which means voice of ancestor in aboriginal as he looks so much like all the others from the Tagera/Bri cross which will happen no more as they sadly are both deceased.

12.01.2022 John & Karabil Asis were successful again at the Neville 80km endurance ride - 1st HW & second across the line. Still waiting to hear who got Fittest Horse?

10.01.2022 18 days over & finally today when it is at last raining, Karabil Atchena (Salam Kadesh x Karabil Arika) produced another big filly (by Meadow View Ellusive), probably staying bay & possibly being named Amey meaning oven as she has been baking a long time!. Our 4 foals this year have all been born during daylight hours (very handy to photgraph)!

08.01.2022 Thank heavens for one with a white front leg! These two are full brothers born a year apart.

07.01.2022 Our first foal of the season arrived just before 7am this morning (in light drizzle, but at least not last night in the heavy 22mm rain). A very nice & tall pure Crabbet filly by Meadow View Ellusive, mum is Pevensey Rawonda.

06.01.2022 Its a large healthy boy. 2 weeks overdue Giz arrived early Tues morning. 94.97% Crabbet (Meadow View Ellusive x Karabil Guineeboo). Mum was on limited grazing for the last month as she was foundering, but we have a healthy big chest colt.

06.01.2022 The 2nd arrival is a going grey filly - Karabil Renpi - (Meadow View Ellusive x Pevensey Rawonda) born 21st Oct in daylight again at 6.43am. Check out how patient mum is with the foal wrapped around her leg as she tries to work out how the hell to get her long legs to work for the first time!

06.01.2022 Chestnut filly born this morning (Karabil Ganbarr x Karabil Binyana). Very energetic & also seems to have inherited dads quiet temperament.

05.01.2022 Looking at Asiss logbook for the last 2 years he was entered in 10 rides & was 1st HW in 8 of them, 6 Best Conditioned awards, 2nd HW once & one V/O. Pretty impressive for a small horse only just 15hh who carries a HW rider!

02.01.2022 Our handsome pocket rocket Karabil Asis with John on board had their most successful results at Wandandian E/R on the weekend. They took out line honours in 5hr 42ms 1st HW & HW Fittest Horse. A big thank you to the ride organisers who found a great new campsite & very scenic ride. (Special thanks to Julie Dixon - Suntec Brims) for donating the flash brim for Johns helmet)

01.01.2022 We think the mare will let the foal drink thanks to Kim Wilde playing with ropes around her legs all afternoon in the sun. So hopefully we do not need a surrogate.
