22.01.2022 Did you know we offer Iron Infusions? Iron Infusions are beneficial for patients with iron deficiency, when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used. The aim of the infusion is to replenish body iron stores and to remedy anaemia; a reduced level of haemoglobin due to iron deficiency. 15.01.2022 It is important when you are booking that you answer our triage questions truthfully both online and via the telephone. This is so we can offer an appropriate appointment type for your needs and to ensure the safety of our Doctors, staff and other patients. Anyone experiencing ANY cold and flu like symptoms, including; cough, sore throat, runny nose & fever will be triaged by a Doctor via a Telehealth consultation first. Please do not just present to the surgery or make a...n appointment because you have had a COVID test and it is negative. We will still see you face to face if necessary, but we will do so in a way to least impact other patients and our staff. Where possible, we are encouraging ALL patients presenting to the practice to wear a mask, and call us from the car park on arrival to limit your time spent inside the practice. Again, this is for your own health and safety. If the Doctor is running late or you arrive early for your appointment, our staff may have to ask you to return to your vehicle. 09.01.2022 CHANGES TO TELEHEALTH BILLING EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2020 Due to the reduction in Telehealth funding from the Australian Government, we are no longer able to bulk bill GP Telehealth consultations for those patients who are on a Commonwealth concession card, or classified as being vulnerable to Covid 19. ... Consultation fees ($65 for standard consultation) will therefore apply to Telehealth consultations with a rebate of $38.75 available from Medicare. Payment at the time of consultation via credit card is preferred and then allows for us to process your claim on the spot. If you have any concerns, please feel free to discuss this with our Practice Manager or your GP prior to your consultation your consultation. The temporary availability of Telehealth consultations has currently been extended until 31st March 2021. We appreciate your understanding, KGP.
