24.01.2022 Somebody reckons the Community Gardeners are driving through Robyn Lesley Park. We’re pretty sure it’s not us. Do they mean the rangers that patrol our parks and public places? We park at the entrance to the gardens because there are tools and trees to bring in every Saturday. But this is adjacent to Koolinda Crescent barely 10 metres off the road.

22.01.2022 Tonight City of Darwin Unanimously voted to lobby the Federal Government and Senator McMahonnn for the release of the 9 refugees from indefinite detention! Than...k you to the Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis for seconding the motion and all my fellow Aldermen for supporting it! This means so much to the refugees and to those that have maintained a vigil for 70 days and it shows our City really does care! Thank you!!!! See more

Your Local Ward Aldermen are down here every Saturday 0800-1000 to discuss community issues! See you down in in the garden soon!

11.01.2022 Our Banana Circle is complete. Today we planted lemongrass on the inside of the circle. That’s where it goes, apparently. The cassava is shooting. The sweet potato is loving it. The Karama Community Garden is open every Saturday from 8am to 10am. Come down and have a chat. Register for a plot for when the garden beds are built.

05.01.2022 See you on Saturday.

04.01.2022 We are going to plant a few seeds for a variety of random plants this Saturday. The pigeon pea is a great shrub for conditioning the soil.

02.01.2022 Let me tell you a bit about the Karama Community Garden!
