17.01.2022 There was great excitement on Friday when the container of medical supplies for the National Referral Hospital and books for Carlisle Bay School in Lata, Temotu..., donated by Rotary Clubs in Australia arrived at the National Medical Store. Counsellor Julie McCallum joined Tony Rayer from Honiara Rotary Club, National Medical Store Procurement Adviser Neil Able and Manager William Horoto who were on hand to assist with the unpacking. We are proud of the Australians who continue to support schools and hospitals across Solomon Islands. Thank you Rotary! Rotary Down Under Rotary Club of Honiara

16.01.2022 Join us on 22nd March to enjoy an afternoon of music and raise funds for drought affected farmers in the South Burnett region. Don't forget, the drought isn't over as soon as it rains. It will take several years for everyone to recover, so they still need our support.

11.01.2022 #Queenslanders please drive safely this long weekend. RYDA is more than a program, it is partnership that has become an intrinsic part of our College culture, p...roviding #ATCmen with the tools and understanding to see themselves as active, responsible road citizens; motivating them to create good driving habits to stay safe on the roads. This week our Year 11 students participated in a highly engaging and memorable workshop, front loading students understanding of road safety and the dangers of speeding. The workshop sessions were led by members of the police department, driving instructors and safety sector experts. We are proud to partner with #Rotary on this initiative as we continue #formingmenofcourage who respect their personal safety and that of other road users. Quest Community Newspapers

05.01.2022 I wonder what the anti vaccination group think of this. Proves a point doesn't it. Rotary made the world a better place. Bill Gates thought it was worth donating to and Rotary was the credible organization to partner with.

05.01.2022 William was a very entertaining and thought provoking speaker. We all thoroughly enjoyed his presentation as well as the rest of the District Conference.

05.01.2022 President Alannah Valentine was pleased to be able to hand over some much needed tools to Monique Lowndes at eWaste Connection at Kenmore. Thanks to Richard for organising the tools.

04.01.2022 Hello there! We know our social media has been a little bit quiet of late but we have a good excuse .......we have been super super busy with programs! At the... moment we are operating 2 programs on Wednesdays and 2 on Fridays and then a double session on a Saturday. We are so happy that we have been able to provide our "Rebuild" program to women who have survived domestic violence and our "Maverick" program for youth who have also experienced family violence or are need support for other reasons. We are so lucky to work with many wonderful participants who are so immersed in the program and just slightly in love with their teachers (equine of course) Unfortunately due to COVID we are running on a skeleton crew and are missing our lovely volunteers immensely. We understand that you will all be missing the programs and the horses so we are hoping that one day soon we can resume as normal. At the moment we have fingers and toes crossed that we can get through the next 3 weeks uninterrupted.

04.01.2022 It has been 20 years since one Rotary club created ShelterBox, a humanitarian organization that has now supported more than 1.5 million people.
