20.01.2022 Kara Jewellery is handcrafted in a rural workshop near the historic Dutch Fort in Sri Lanka’s southern city of Galle. 4 weeks on from the deadly Easter Sunday bombings, the workshop owner sent me these pics of a deserted Galle Fort saying, all the tourists have disappeared from Sri Lanka .....usually around this time this street would be packed with tourists and locals, walking and dining, but now it is desolate Please support Sri Lankan small businesses .... the little batik shops, the trishaw drivers, the B&B’s, the roadside boutiques.
