21.01.2022 Hey Kenpo Freestylers, Today we are starting our very first online classes. These classes tonight are going to service the Collaroy Plateau Karate School and the Bellevue Hill Karate School. If you want to participate and join these classes, you will need to set up a Zoom account as per the email sent out yesterday. If you did not receive the email, please comment below.... We will update this post shortly with the link to follow to access the sign in portal. Aside from this, please make sure that you have a space at home, working webcam and mic. We are very excited to launch this today, please bare with us as it is our first attempt. Your zoom class will run at its regular time: 4:00, 4:45, 5:30, 6:15 etc. Classes will be open to join from start time until 10 minutes after start time only. After that, there will be no option to join, so dont be late! Please share with everyone you know from karate so they can participate. Hope to see you shortly! - KFA Team

Classes run every Wednesday from 4pm with new term registration commencing 29th July. NEW STUDENTS receive their first lesson Free of Charge - just show up on the day and we will take care of the rest!

15.01.2022 Some Halloween fun at CP karate today

14.01.2022 Bitter Sweet Week - We are moving temporarily to Collaroy Plateau Community Centre - Effective immediately (Tonight) Due to new regulations brought out by the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay we unfortunately are losing our training hall at St Rose Catholic Primary for the time being. We are very sad about this as we have been there for 8 years. We have a great relationship with the school and love the premises but with the ever-changing Corona situation - we must also adapt ...to the new situation. We say goodbye for now, hopefully not for long or forever. For the remainder of the term we will be using the COLLAROY PLATEAU COMMUNITY CENTRE - on Plateau Park, on the southern end of Blandford Street off Telopea Street which is a 3-minute drive (or 8 min walk) from St Rose - So very close! Ample free parking on site :) Classes will run at the same times with one exception - the sparring class for advanced students will be starting from 5pm instead of 5.30pm - to avoid overlap with our adults classes which start at 6pm. 12.01.2022 UPDATE on our Spring BREAK camp! We are in day four today with our intermediate students building their confidence, skills and making new friends! Have a look at some of the action. 12.01.2022 Hello Kenpo Freestylers, tomorrow is the start of our spring Break camp! please remember to bring your uniform (for grappling), sparring gear (if you have any), drink bottle, sweat towel and packed lunch &/or snack. As with last camp there will be opportunity to buy lunch with black belt supervision if required. If you are asthmatic please bring your puffer and advise us before starting the day of your particular condition(s) - As with allergies, diabetes or any other possible medical situations. 05.01.2022 Important notice to all students: we start a new ten-week term this Friday through next Thursday. Any students who have visited the Wuhan area of China in the last few months must wait two weeks from the time they entered Australia to participate in our classes. This is for the safety of our students, parents, and instructors. Sorry for the inconvenience. Sensei Matt

04.01.2022 We had to make the decision today to close all of our schools effective tomorrow at noon. Although the public schools remain open, and it was our intention to tether our classes to them, it became clear after the Prime Minsters announcement today that we would not be able to continue. Despite all the safety measures we put in place, it becomes necessary to cease operations indefinitely to fall in compliance with the law and to protect the health and safety of our students. T...his is a very sad day for our Kenpo tribe and especially our great instructors, everyone will suffer. This is extremely disappointing to us, just as it has been for you and your children. We hope this situation is under control soon and we can resume as quickly as possible. We will give all students credit for their classes attended this term for their grading qualification when we resume. Thanks so much for your support and understanding.
