24.01.2022 KIDS DIGITAL LESSONS We are super excited to announce that our Kids packs are ready to go, the digital lesson for our first pack has been recorded and both will be available online from this Tuesday. The cost is $25 per kit, they include: Clay ... Pottery paint Basic Tools Instructions Access to a digital lesson Firing & glazing You will be able to purchase the kits online, pop in and collect during it studio hours, then drop back your kids creations for us to do firing and glazing.



22.01.2022 ONLINE KIDS CLASSES COMING SOON I’m super excited to announce children’s classes are about to go digital, many thanks to @creatensw digital kids grant. It will take me a few weeks to get sorted, I’ll keep you all posted of my progress.

19.01.2022 IN OUR UPSIDE DOWN COVID WORLD we have made the wearing of masks compulsory in our studio and @newcastleartspace ... We can all make a difference to beat this blasted virus, I know we can!! I’ve been madly sewing enough to get me through all my classes, I’ve used the burda online pattern, but there are many places selling masks, including @aliejanetravelaccessories @upcyclenewcastle @highteawithmrswoo, spotlight and the NSW GOV also have downloadable patterns and details on what fabric to use.



19.01.2022 ‘Locus Focus,’ the first show celebrating the achievements of the 12-month NAS mentorship program, will be held this Friday night, November 27th. With food and refreshments, and a projector displaying the artworks for those sitting outside on picnic blankets, it's set to be a great night! I was doing this today and It took my right back to that place.... it made me contemplate the act of practicing..,it’s such an integral part of developing a skill, practice, practice, practice... anyway it made me happy to think on this..

05.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS! We are introducing kids classes online next term! COVID rules and restrictions have made running kids classes in person unviable.. However, we are excited to announce, Thanks to @creatensw from next term we will be offering take home kids clay packs with online digital lessons. Parents will be able to make clay with kids in the comfort of their own home, at a time that suits them, you can then drop your work back for firing and glazing. ... #pottery #kidspottery #potterylessons #digitallearning #creatensw

Her voice is repeating in my head.. this is the new zoom meeting setup for students to zoom in if they can’t make a class next term. One would think this to be simple.. not so!
