13.01.2022 OverviewMallacoota Mallacoota is one of Gippsland's great escapes, surrounded by the magnificent wilderness of the Croajingolong National Park and set on the beautiful Mallacoota Inlet. Unspoilt coast Unwind at this pretty costal town, blessed with Victoria's warmest winter temperatures and cool ocean breezes in summer. Discover the coast from the popular and patrolled Betka Beach to the rugged Quarry Beach where snorkellers explore the rocks, or the peaceful Secret Beach. Th...e Top Lake, Bottom Lake, the inlets, cliffs and beaches are all great places to explore or just sit and watch the beautiful sunsets for which the area is renowned. With sparkling waters on every side there's no better way to see the riches of Mallacoota than from the back of a boat. Bring your own ride and berth at a local jetty or hire one and head off exploring the waterways. Nature and wildlife Experience diverse landscapes in Croajingolong National Park, from pure white sandy beaches to granite peaks and heathland. Another must-see is Gipsy Point a beautiful peninsula jutting into the top lake of the Mallacoota Inlet, home to a large mob of kangaroos.

Some open onto the wide verandah with spectacular water views, and others to courtyards or gardens. All are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, fans, heaters and electric blankets. We have a range of double, queen, family & twin rooms, to suit all requirements.

10.01.2022 Karbeethong Lodge has everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Cook up a storm in our large fully equipped country kitchen, or sample the cafes and restaurants in town. Guest facilities include internet access, bbq, games & library, open woodburning fire, laundry and use of jetty. We deliberately do not offer television or radio so our guests can revel in the peace and quiet of their natural surroundings.
