09.01.2022 Let’s talk SWEAT. So, you exercise regularly and you sweat ALOT. So why would you need to incorporate infrared saunas into your regime? The sweat is actually different when we sweat in a sauna vs exercise. Yes, sweat QUALITY is a thing. When our core temperature rises by 3 degrees, which it does in an infrared sauna, our body goes into a detox sweat. Up to 20% of the sweat we sweat out in our sauna session is heavy metals and toxins. In a 'traditional sauna’ (think hot rock...s, or the saunas at some gyms) the amount of heavy metals and toxins we sweat out is only up to 3%. And in exercise even less. When we reduce our toxic load our body can function better, we become healthier. Infrared also creates energy in the cells, again enhancing our health at a cellular level.
