If you are feeling fit and well, you can schedule an appointment as normal. If in the past 14 days you have; Returned from overseas or interstate travel... Felt unwell, including but not limited to, fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath Had a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have come in contact with a confirmed or suspected case Or if you are; Immunocompromised, Have a chronic disease Or currently under cancer treatment, We advise to consider deferring all non-urgent dental treatment. We want our patients to feel comfortable and confident in our surgery. We continue to maintain our high standard of infection control for your safety, with increased attention to high traffic areas. 12.01.2022 Premier Daniel Andrews today announced new restrictions for regional Victoria. As of 11.59pm, Sunday 2nd August, it will be mandatory for all Victorians to wear a face covering. It's important for everyone to understand the correct procedure for putting your mask on and removing it, to avoid any cross contamination and spreading of the virus. Please watch this short video from Victoria's Chief Health Officer, as he explains the correct way to wear your mask. 09.01.2022 With Regional Victoria moving back in to Stage 3 restrictions, we at Kardinia Dental would like to reassure our patients that dental services will continue to operate, under the guidance of the Australian Dental Association, and patients will be allowed to visit the dentist for all necessary dental care. It is important that patients do not put off or delay going to the dentist if they are experiencing dental problems. The health, safety and well-being of our staff, patients... and the community still remains our top priority. We ask that if you; Have been diagnosed with coronavirus and requiring to be in isolation, or Have been directed to a period of 14-day quarantine by the Department of Health and Human Services as a result of being in close contact of someone with coronavirus, That you do not attend to dental treatment until advised by the Department of Health and Human Services that you are released from isolation or until your 14-day quarantine period is complete. We also ask that if you have a fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell, to not attend the surgery. Contact your GP and get tested for coronavirus.
