13.01.2022 Do you have any prescription glasses that you don't need anymore? It was Fred Hollows' vision that everyone deserves eye care but a lot of people can't afford it. As part of our Stage 3 'Night of the Notables' project, I've learnt that there is a recycling program for prescription glasses. Inspired by the Fred Hollows Foundation, the 'Lions Recycle for Sight' program delivers any prescription glasses to people in need overseas. This means that your old glasses can help someon...e else to see better and can even prevent blindness. If you would like to give the gift of sight to other children and adults, please send your unwanted prescription glasses with your child to school. There will be a collection box outside of the Office and we would love to see it filled up with children and adult prescription glasses so we can help as many people as we can. Thank you! Charlotte F (6H)
