17.01.2022 GOOD NEWS I shall re-open my remedial massage clinic from SATURDAY 13 JUNE 2020. From an ethical and professional point of view the decision to re-open was never going to be an easy one. That said, in weighing up the current level of risk vs the essential work I can do in assisting with pain management, mobility, range of movement and stress management I believe that there is enough evidence and testing in place to reassure me that I can treat from a place of safety. Appoi...ntments will be staggered, COVID-19 screening consent forms completed and hygiene will be ramped up but apart from that it will be business as usual in this unusual world! I have already been receiving requests for appointments so if you would like to book please get in touch as soon as possible. 15.01.2022 HEALTH UPDATE: My role as a remedial massage therapist gives me the absolute privilege of being able to care for members of the community - assisting them with pain relief and supporting them both physically and mentally. I am closely following the Federal Governments Health Advice and at this point in time I remain open. As we know this is a constantly changing environment and should this situation change I will be in touch with all clients

13.01.2022 As a health care practitioner, I care deeply for the health of my clients as well as my own. COVID-19 is primarily spread between people when we directly touch or breath the air of someone who is already infected, or through touching a surface that has been recently infected. Hygiene and infection control is integral to a therapist’s training because of the nature of our work.... So I wanted to share with you the precautions I am taking in my clinic. Things I always do to be clean and sanitary: I use fresh towels for each client (as always) I wash my hands thoroughly with disinfectant before and after each client (as always) My treatment environment is clean and sanitary (as always) Clients are asked not to attend if they are sick (as always) Disposable paper face sheets and bed roll is used (as always) At the moment I am also adding the precautions of: I ask clients not to attend if they have recently travelled or been in contact with any confirmed cases I am providing sanitising hand wash for each client at reception I am using a hospital grade disinfectant wash on commonly touched surfaces/massage bed/cupping equipment/hot stones before each client in addition to the use of anti-bacterial wipes Right now I am continuing to provide the usual care and support for all my clients. As the situation unfolds and we learn more, I will continue to follow the advice from the health authorities. Please get in touch if you have any questions or wish to book an appointment.

12.01.2022 It is with great sadness that my remedial massage business will be TEMPORARILY closed effective immediately. NSW Health and the Federal Government have no longer given me permission to remain open and throughout this crisis I have followed the health advice they have provided. Please note that my business will REOPEN once COVID-19 passes, and I cannot wait for that day... Thank you to all my clients who have supported me, it breaks my heart to close my doors. 09.01.2022 Just a quick update: Whilst the NSW government has approved remedial massage therapists returning to work - I am being guided by the sound professional advice of my massage association. As health professionals, remedial massage therapists are in close contact with the general public & therefore find it difficult to comply with social distancing restrictions. With the best health screening & hygiene protocols in place we cannot guarantee that there will not be the risk of transmission (albeit remote). I take my duty of care to all my clients very seriously, in particular the elderly and those with chronic health conditions, and it is for this reason that at this time my practice will remain temporarily closed. I appreciate your support and understanding and rest assured I will be back as soon as it is safe for everyone of us
