25.01.2022 Well sadly no competition for me tomorrow as I don't feel DD has fully recovered from last weekend at Maryborough but I would like to share some lovely photos from my first ever Inter A. Thanks to Averil Crebbin of Picture the Moment photography I have these beautiful memories. 19.01.2022 This is all pertinent advice. I have coached many ladies getting back in the saddle after watching their kids from the sideline during school years. A few have taken over the ride on their daughters mount & have been very successful. I particularly want to endorse the advice about don’t buy the young superstar and to make sure you stay safe & feel safe on the horse you are riding.

14.01.2022 Day 2 of my Franklin Ball Equestrian course completed (6am start ) & I was so excited I rushed out & had a play on my patient pony. If you look closely at the pic you can see me sitting on a soft squishy roller. Definitely need to play with the placement of this one or balls to be appropriate to the riders natural pelvic tilt. In the pic it is pushing me too forward & I adjusted it to be more on my seat bones. Then I played with walking & using visualisation techniques (imagery) combined with the roller. 12.01.2022 Great morning being a crash test dummy with Melinda Macaulay from Strong Stable Seat preparing for the upcoming @activate your core clinic. Link in the comments below. In these photos I was trialling & quite challenged by the heaviest level of performance bands and the highest level of a device which vibrates your chin if your head is not straight. 11.01.2022 I am hoping there may be a couple of my FB friends out there who may be interested in scribing for me at the State Championships. I am judging the Open Novice 2...C on the Thursday 17 September from 9 until 2-44 and the on Friday the Advanced 5B AAOR/Open from 8-30 until 12-24. You will need to be comfortable using the electronic scoring system but I have judged using it several times now and it isnt hard to use. This is a good opportunity to see some great horses! She won the 5yr old young horse class at PRARG last weekend & i received her test sheet today for her first ev...er dressage test also ridden last weekend at PRARG (the 2.1) in which she placed 3rd with 72.77% receiving these lovely comments/marks. I am looking forward to our journey together. See more

05.01.2022 Date Claimer 8 November 2020 clinic at Tallowwood Park Equestrian Center, Pomona. Im excited to be holding a one day clinic with Mel Macauley of Strong Stable Seat. The focus of the clinic will be developing core stability both on and off the horse. Riders and auditors will be welcome. There is overnight accommodation available for both horses and riders if required. More details to come soon! While you have some time off send your horse to have a break from the normal routine with us! Located on the back of the Ewen Maddoc Dam in Mooloolah our facilities are completely surrounded by state forest with miles of sand tracks for horses. We offer: -individual paddocks with safety fencing and shelters- day paddock and night stable can be arranged if required. -feeding and hay twice daily- you can provide your own feed or we can supply. -clean town drinking water -four horse walker -professional riders to hack your horse out around the sand tracks of the forestry. 02.01.2022 I had such a great day at the Activate your core clinic with Mel Macauley today from Strong Stable Seat Melinda Macaulay. She & her husband Andrew put so much work in to running this clinic. All of the participants were very engaged & having fun during the postural assessments + work on the fit balls to activate their cores & identify postural weaknesses. This was the morning session. I think everyone including me got something out of the morning . Translating that in to a r...idden session is tremendously difficult. I tried my hardest to do this & hope all riders gained some insights. We had riders from the highest skill level to relatively novice level. All good riders strive to work on their positions continuously both on & off the horse. All who attended should be applauded for making the effort to be a better rider.
