12.01.2022 People always ask how I have the patience to do this work I guess if I looked at the blank canvas and thought about the thousands of dots I'd be doing maybe I'd think about how I could finish it also,but I don't . Dotting is meditative process where I focus just on the small area I'm working on,it's a rythym...dip..dot dot dot (only 3 dots per dip) . 10.01.2022 My aim with the motifs and symbols is to bring them to the top of the canvas. When I first begin the elements,dotting around them they have the appearance of flatness.To bring them to the front I enlarge the elements over the background dotting ,my aim is to make them feel as they are floating,contrasted with the dotting that is somewhat strategically placed to give an effect of movement.
