13.01.2022 Just found this interesting and well referenced response by a retired paediatrician to a recent article on the BMJ (British Medical Journal). Why is the research that shows the influenza vaccine increases the risk of virus-associated acute respiratory illness by (depending on the study), a minimum of 36% and a maximum of 500%, not being discussed in the media? How can the government mandate influenza vaccines for healthy adults when research has revealed that it only has mar...ginal effectiveness against the flu and has been linked to increased respiratory illnesses (including coronaviruses) as well as a host of serious side effects??? Anyone got any ideas, because, I would have thought our chief medical officers job is to be all over this! https://www.bmj.com/content/368/bmj.m626/rr

09.01.2022 In the global rush for a vaccine, regardless of our opinion, we need to ALL be aware of the risks that come with this fast-tracking. We need to have full transparency around the whole debate, including the research (or lack thereof), the potential risks from adjuvants and animal cell lines and the strange indemnity backdrop whereby manufacturers and drug companies have no liability against any possible health impacts of vaccines. We, the public and individual citizens, need ...to be included in this debate to allow us to make an informed decision for ourselves. With all sides of the debate presented in an open and democratic context, then we are free to choose for ourselves with no need to be dictated to by mandates. There is a global push for transparency in this newfound world of increasing censorship. Take a look at this manifesto, that calls for just that, and spread the word. :) https://www.anhinternational.org//intl-vaccine-transparen/

09.01.2022 Interesting and important new study just released comparing the health of vaccinated versus unvaccinated kids, revealing increased risk by 2-4 fold of asthma, developmental delay and ear infections. Confirming what I have seen in clinic for many years. check it out here: https://doi.org/10.1177/2050312120925344 Let's hope this helps to widen the debate to look at all aspects of long term health, not just the risk of childhood infection! Our immune system is a brilliant, well-designed, self regulating system that has evolved with our natural environment to keep us strong and healthy. Time to respect it.

05.01.2022 I heard some medical "expert" tell ABC radio listeners last week that the flu vaccine doesn't really protect you against the flu, as the virus mutates each year and the strains are the old strains and tend to not be the strain that you might be exposed to this year. So while it doesn't stop you getting the flu, the vaccine theoretically will boost your immune system. Hmm...my medical training taught me that the immune system is boosted through a range of simple measures such as vitamin C, vitamin D (free from the sun!), zinc, vitamin A, moderate exercise, sleep, healthy food and avoiding stress. Why are we not being told this through the public health education campaign?

03.01.2022 Every day on my morning walk to watch the sun rise I receive little messages from nature. They come from the wind, the birds, clouds, insects or from the myriad of animals I encounter upon the way. But many times they come simply from leaves. Each leaf is unique and carries a story and a message that I have been collating over the years into an oracle of sorts. Today I ponder the human story at this point in time and what we are being called to be and to do. I offer these small gifts from the trees I love - each unique, but together a more majestic tapestry. United we stand, celebrating our difference, respecting our diversity, and ultimately honouring our shared humanity.
