24.01.2022 Enjoying the holidays with weaving, pastel and chalk drawing, canvas painting, rock painting, designing and painting t-shirts and modelling with clay. I just love the enthusiasm to learn and try new things and how proud they are of what they have created.

21.01.2022 I frequently put out craft for all the kids when the older 2 get home from school. I don’t say anything it’s just on the table for them to discover if they wish. Sometimes it’s over in a matter of minutes. Sometimes they sit for ages creating, crafting, drawing and sticking. But most of the time Mr 2 is standing on the table emptying the contents of the craft baskets all over the floor, sometimes in one go, other times one projectile at a time. Then glue, paper and sparkles... are everywhere, then in the next instant all the kids are playing in the garden and I find myself cleaning up again. I often wonder why I continue to do it. Then yesterday while I was washing up Miss 7 comes and put her arm around me and says ‘Mum I love all the craft things you put out for us, thank you’ I do it because I love seeing their curiosity, creativity and imagination. I do it because all the little moments and gestures come together to create beautiful childhood memories. I do it because I love them. See more

14.01.2022 I have always believed that the dirtier the kids were...... the more fun they were having! This video to me is what childhood memories should be filled with.

13.01.2022 We have a whiteboard in our living room where I like to write messages to the kids for when they wake up. Things like You are loved, You are amazing, You are clever and kind etc etc....... It warms my heart that Miss 7 now writes her own messages to the rest of the family.

05.01.2022 Being a Mum I understand that leaving your children with a new babysitter can be an anxious time. To help everyone feel more at ease I offer all new families a free pre meet. I will come to your place for 20-30 mins for a chat and I like to do a little craft activity with the children. I find this makes everyone more relaxed on the actual night of babysitting. ... So if your thinking of having a night out soon and would like to arrange a pre meet then get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
