20.01.2022 Finding ways to include 40 guests when we are limited to 5 at the wedding venue is closed. My Grooms have been together for 18 years and tomorrow was always going to be their wedding date. Thank goodness for technology and live streaming so that family and friends can still be included in this very special moment Ashton, dear friend and witness has had a crash course in photography today so she can capture some beautiful moments during our ceremony.... The professional photographer they had is not allowed at the ceremony due to the 5 rule for weddings.

18.01.2022 It was so important for my Bride and Groom to have a ‘Welcome to Country’ by a local Aboriginal Elder at their ceremony. I was delighted when I found out it was Mr Ted Williams. I met Ted 7 years ago as an integral part of my school’s indigenous culture. He was a familiar face, a warm and inviting presence, and he delivered his welcome for Ambrose and Alexandra’s wedding with sincerity and passion. 07.01.2022 Just did my rehearsal for Darren and Gordons wedding tomorrow. Itll be my last for quite a few months This is how we roll planning for 5 at the wedding which means their professional photographer is not allowed at the wedding! Ashton, our witness, got a crash course in photography today. Darren and Gordon are professional photographers and videographers. Their wedding is in their back yard because their venue is closed. Their ceremony will be live streaming to their 4...0 guests tomorrow so we had to make sure we were all in frame given the social distancing rules. Hugo from the Corona Virus Qld Govt hotline advised me today that couples are not restricted to the 1.5m social distancing rule. Makes sense...couples who live together, sleep in the same bed so should still be able to hold hands and kiss So sealing their marriage with a kiss is stil ok as far as what Hugo from the Govt hotline can see. However we , the two witnesses and myself cannot give them a congratulatory hug or kiss - which I have to say feels really unusual. So in the years and decades to come my grooms will have a very interesting wedding story to tell. They have planned this day for 18 years...and by this time tomorrow they will be married x
