10.01.2022 I am very excited to be back this week doing in person Kinesiology sessions! For those of you that don’t know Kinesiology is a holistic approach to health care that addresses the entire physical and energetic form as opposed to symptoms of one issue or disease. The idea is that the body and mind are indivisible and that our physical and emotional forms are individually affected when one or the other is out of sync. But how does it work? ... Kinesiology melds eastern energetic healing arts (of working with the human energy field) with western physiological and psychological healing sciences (muscle testing and talk therapy) to address a wide-range of physical, emotional, mental, nutritional and spiritual issues, with results that can be felt immediately (yippee!) Using muscle testing to access a person’s subconscious knowledge and innate body wisdom we can identify the root cause of a problem and use techniques to balance and correct it. As the subconscious is being accessed, deeply held patterns (both physical and mental), emotions, feelings, thoughts and actions are able to be released and healed. Techniques used to correct problems include Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), acupressure, aura and chakra balancing, meridian therapy, sound therapy and Flower Essences. Contact me for more info or to book an appointment. Appointments are available in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire. xx

22.12.2021 There is nothing like getting your mood vibe on when the sun comes out. What a glorious day. Enjoy folks.
07.12.2021 I can help you to get to the root cause of your anxiety and release any strong emotions which may be behind it such as despair, fear, powerlessness and unworthiness. Only when we begin to accept all parts of ourselves can we return to a feeling of health and wholeness.
23.11.2021 A healthy emotional world is a commitment to honouring ALL emotional experiences as they arise. I was able to regain my health and create a life free from anxiety where I am truly happy and passionate. I did this by going within and acknowledging and accepting the emotions that I had denied and suppressed my whole life and allowing myself the time, space and kindness to release them. I would love to help you to do the same.... www.karenmurphywellness.co.uk/about-karen-murphy/
11.11.2021 Harnessing anxiety can seem like herding cats, an impossibility that few can do. Yet, it’s easier than assumed and you don’t even need a lasso. Instead, consider the following: Take a moment: Anxiety can be acute or chronic (or a little of both for a really great time!). Take a moment to collect yourself before you conquer any kind of stress. Breathe, meditate, or reflect; do whatever you need to summon your strength. Remember the end result: Getting anxiety under control i...s difficult: often, conquering one fear just causes another to pop up. But focus on the end result it’s okay to take two steps forward and one step back. You’re still making progress as long as you’re moving ahead. Make a plan: No one wants to walk around feeling anxious all the time; there’s no fun in that (even if stress burns calories!). Thus, make a plan to get your anxiety under control. If you are unable to do this on your own, seek outside help from a therapist, coach, or doctor. Remember that you’re human: Anxiety is one of the most human of all emotions: we all have fears even if we won’t admit it. Some people are certainly more anxious than others, but the feeling of anxiety is something that everyone has experienced at one time or another. Remember that this comes with the territory of being born. In other words, blame your parents! Use it as a teacher: Most of us look at anxiety as a sworn rival, the nemesis to our happiness. But anxiety can be an ally as well sometimes, it’s trying to tell us something. If you’re anxious about your health, for example, anxiety may be telling you that it’s time to get in shape. If you’re anxious about your job, anxiety may be telling you it’s time for a new career. If you notice a theme to your stressors, pay attention. Anxiety- View it as a friend rather than a foe and recognise that it’s something we all face. It’s a common enemy of the human race. www.karenmurphywellness.co.uk

02.10.2021 Tuning Forks. These are used to help release tension and energy within the body & promote emotional balance. It works similar to acupuncture and uses sound frequency for point stimulation instead of needles. When I use these on clients they experience very different things, some feel the energy start moving and shifting within their bodies, they may feel it as tingling or waves. Others may see different colours appearing as they have their eyes closed. People feel and experience energy in different ways, it always amazes me what a client experiences!
21.09.2021 #ChooseToChallenge #IWD2021 A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.... From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge. Show your support and solidarity Raise your hand high to show you're in and that you commit to choose to challenge and call out inequality.
09.09.2021 Finishing the virtual London Marathon 2020 What a day!
25.08.2021 These are my business cards (although with lockdown seems like a long time since I’ve given one out!) It’s got a handy little diagram on the back to help people remember the meridian tapping points. Clients normally pop them in their wallets or keep them where they do their tapping session as an easy reminder!... They are super useful! I them
13.08.2021 Many people have problems with the bombardment of negative thoughts: their brain tells them they’re not good enough, funny enough or pretty enough. If you are having thoughts like this or any others which you don’t like it is important to know that keeping your emotions inside isn’t healthy. It sets you up to blow like a fizzy drink that’s been shaken: once you take off the cap, things explode. Creative outlets can actually help with this. They are able to remove the extraneous energy that is swirling round our body and brain and put it into a positive outlet. I use journaling, dancing and singing (badly!) as mine. What about you? What do you find helps?
