25.01.2022 When you are on Retreat Saturday is not the only day for sewing for the Retreaters. It starts Friday afternoon right through to Sunday afternoon. If you want more information on the Retreat held 24th to 26th August please message me your email address.

22.01.2022 What a great weekend was had by all. We had lots of laughs, solved the problems of the world but most of all got lots of sewing done. If you want to come to the next one get in quick & put your name down for the 25th to 27th May.

18.01.2022 Last couple of weeks I have made two Libby A-Line skirts from a free PDF pattern at Tessuti. I changed the zip from a side zip to centre back zip, used bias instead of facing around the waist. The second skirt I drew up a pocket, lined it with gingham. Thoroughly enjoyed making it up and will definitely make more.

18.01.2022 Christmas gathering for the 2018 Retreaters. Sadly not all could make it today and were missed. Games were played, prizes were won, giveaways were handed out, delicious food was eaten but best of all there was lots of chatter and laughter because friendships have been formed. Come and join us in 2019. Dates are 22 - 24 Feb, 17 - 20 May, 23 - 25 August and 25 - 27 October.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone hope you are over the busy Christmas/New year season. I have been itching to get back into sewing so thought I would catch up with all the easy projects first. It has been very satisfying to get these done. I have being making new cushion covers for the lounge & bedrooms, renewed the pillow covers with new pillow slips, recovered three ironing boards - love my groovy Hawaiian cover. Then I repurposed a cotton tablecloth into tea towels & kitchen towels Please share what you have been up to.

15.01.2022 As Ive said before we are moving house and will be doing a full Reno. This is part of my stash I just have to have close to me. You never know when the urge to sew might hit. Trailer & back of 4WD full to the brim.

06.01.2022 While Im on holidays in far North Queensland I stumbled across the yummiest papaya jam that I couldnt resist buying a jar or two for the next retreat. Looking forward to catching up & meeting new retreaters end of August.
