17.01.2022 There is nothing that compares to the sheer wonder of holding your newborn in your arms and, if they’re not your first, of capturing your older kids’ reactions to their new little sister or brother. Like all of my work, I take a lifestyle approach to newborn photography this means no awkward poses or forced smiles. Just time to relax and take in this wonderful little person you created. : Four week old baby Maverick and his besotted family in my new home studio Spots... are limited for May, it’s always best to book your session ahead of your babies arrival to secure your spot www.karensadek.com

15.01.2022 Daylight savings is happening soon which means family outdoor shoots will be brought forward by an hour! I know a lot of parents worry about keeping their little ones up but sessions over the next few months will allow kids to be in bed at their usual bed time (We can all hope right?) I'm now taking bookings for outdoor family shoots for May and June. I only offer one a week, so first in best dressed!

09.01.2022 I’ve had a few new faces here so thought I’d do a refresher and introduce myself. Well hey there! I’m Karen. I was born & raised in Western Sydney, an area filled with culture and food, where the people work hard, and the streets were filled with the smells of all kinds of different food each night. ... My childhood was one filled with art, culture and play. I think the endless play is why I love to have fun and make people laugh; being surrounded by art is why I became a photographer. My Grandmother was an artist, and I loved watching her create. Her art held such wonder and magic for me as a child, so I determined to find that for myself. The birth of my first two children was the extra push I needed. You know, that feeling of instant, crazy love? Well, it made me want to be able to take the most beautiful pictures possible. To be able to document every wondrous detail and expression, and every aspect of their personality as they grew, even when they were (and still are) driving me crazy! So, I dove right in, studying and practicing, until my passion became my very own form of art. I became a photographer. Like you though, I’m so much more than my job title. I’m a mumma to three beautiful babies, wife to a wonderful man, a business owner, a person who loves to laugh, a world traveler, an extrovert and an undying fan of coffee, even if I do have to microwave it three times before finding time to finish it! Thanks for coming along the ride with me! X

01.01.2022 Motherhood is messy, chaotic, far from perfect but oh so beautiful. I can't wait to share more of this intimate motherhood session with @chrisymahendra and her bestie Evie
