02.01.2022 I thought it would be nice to share with you all, the amazing ladies/ Gents behind the businesses that have joined our Canelands popup shop. These businesses a...ttend our markets but when we couldn’t do market this year due to COVID-19, I thought outside the box to what I could do to help as many Stallholders as I can through this crazy time. These guys supported my crazy idea with no idea what the outcome was going to be and I can’t thank them enough for coming on this crazy ride with me. Business name: Karens Kreations Mackay, Pram Liners and Baby Gear Your Name: Karen & Kirri How long have you had your business: 8 years What made you start: Mother and daughter sewing combo. Our business evolved after Kirri had her son. I had made him a playmat and matching pram liner. It quickly became obvious that the comfort factor of both was superior with Cooper preferring to sleep in his pram or on the floor, Kirri stated "we could sell these" and hundreds and hundreds of pram liners later we are still enjoying, we have included a lot more to our range of handmade. Kirri qualified and specialises in digitising embroidery designs. Being part of the professionally run NQBKM is a highlight and we look forward each time to meeting new people and catching up with our loyal clients and watching their babies grow.
