17.01.2022 Here at Karimbla we are a teaching workplace for many students, people with additional needs seeking employment and a host of volunteers. We work closely with Nova employment, BeConnected and the 3Bridges Community. We were selected by 3Bridges to advertise the importance of volunteers and volunteer work in the community as well as by Nova Employment in association with NOVA FM where we were asked to take part in a podcast that highlights the importance of employment opportunities for people with disabilities. I hope they captured our good side!

17.01.2022 As a non for profit establishment, we are restricted by funds but sometimes, just sometimes we are blessed to come into contact with extremely talented and generous people within the community. We have been on the hunt for something to dress this cold drab wall in the restaurant for a year- it had to be something that referenced significance for our local clientele. Everything was either too expensive or irrelevant. Our Gorgeous Gaye who can source anything, reached out to Mark Brindle Photography in the hopes we could find something within our budget. Not only did he offer us the print of our choice framed to our specifications, he and his lovely wife donated the entire thing . Such incredible kindness. Needless to say it has garnered much interest...Thank you so much for our beautiful framed Cronulla print Mark Brindle Photography!

13.01.2022 We are still open for business! 2 courses for $11.50 including tea and coffee AND take home frozen meals $8 for your convenience. Understandably, people are avoiding public places as much as possible in the wake of the Caronavirus crazy- however in addition to our high standard sanitisation and cleaning procedures, we have adopted the updated guidelines and precautions from the Australian Government Department of Health. Rest assured we are a small restaurant with a small staff that is doing everything in our power- as much as possible from our end to keep you safe in our environment...

12.01.2022 Being a Community Restaurant means we get to share the best of our community. Covid closed our doors earlier in the year and further isolated many of our members, some of whom rely on being able to get out to spend time with their special others. Being able to reopen our doors, even though our numbers are restricted, has meant so much. So sorry to have had to turn so many away today- especially as I think it was one of our finest menus at an event to date. As always- our wonderful staff and patrons shared in the fun of Best Dressed, raffles, great food and company. Lovely to see all of the big smiles!

Whether one is a fan of the Monarchy or not- all enjoyed a day of good food, company, games, prizes, raffles, costumes and laughter. The Queen herself appeared for her Royal address ...Quite honestly- this event is as much fun as it is hard work for staff and we have a real laugh between us! Thank you to all of our favourites and new found clients for joining us at this sold out event...
