21.01.2022 These days everyone is searching for the right diet for their body type. Their goals are to see instant weight loss, gain muscle, or just to be healthy again. New fad diets are always popping up and causing confusion. How do you begin a healthy and manageable eating behaviour pattern? I hope I can make this simple for you. There are no magical diets or quick fixes to your weight goal journey. I have seen many people including me choose to go on a specific fad diet such as the... keto, low carb, protein diets, they always fail. It is not a prolong diet journey that you can keep up with. You automatically put more unnecessary weight with these fad diets. An example of a healthy and manageable diet that has been around for centuries and works well is the "Mediterranean diet", food consumption such as plant-based food (fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, and cereals) and olive oil, a moderate intake of fish and poultry, and low intakes of dairy products (mostly yoghurt and cheese), red and processed meats and sweets. Wine is typically consumed but in moderation and accompanied by a meal. The strong focus in the Mediterranean diet is their cultural and social aspects, such as communal mealtimes, resting after eating, and regular activity.
