23.01.2022 Hi! So we're into spray tan season, YAY!! But there are some rules we need to follow in order for your tan to go on perfectly & also fade evenly, we don't want patchy tans that look fake! - shower before coming in to be sprayed but don't use any moisturiser, deodorant or perfumes after. - Wear something loose to your appointment as you don't want your clothing to make any rub marks in your fresh tan! ... - Don't skimp on your wash off shower! Take a nice long one making sure you use your hands to rub all the bronzer off from everywhere! Don't use any product but do make sure to rub vigorously so as to avoid any streaky bronzer lines. - To keep your tan looking fantastic for up to 7-10 days & have it fade evenly you need to moisturise as much as possible! This will keep the top layer of your skin hydrated & your tan looking flawless! Now in between tanning it's a good idea to do some exfoliating that way your tan goes onto a smooth canvas! 23.01.2022 Finding time for ourselves in amongst the crazy of family life is so hard! I know it! For some mums out there, going to the loo isn't even peaceful or solo ! But for our own sanity it's important to find even 10-15 minutes to step away from the daily pressures & practice some breathing & mindfulness. You'll be surprised how effective it can be to reset your energy so you don't feel completely burnt out at the end of the day! Today's Full Moon is reminding us to to reset, m...ove old stagnant energy from your home & bodies! Move some furniture & do a shuffle around to bring freshness into your homes, go outside for a brisk walk or even just sit in the garden & listen to the beautiful bird calls! 22.01.2022 Hey all! I've had a few conversations this week with mums that swear their baby girls are already going through pre-puberty changes . I know we don't want our ...babies to grow up but we need to get more in tune with what's coming so we can help them cope with all the changes that are about to knock them off their feet! First off, puberty starts to make an appearance from as early as 8-9 yrs old in both girls & boys! At this early stage it's probably just attitude we're dealing with right! But underneath that attitude is a whole bunch of emotions that are being stimulated by hormone release. For girls they can become excessively over sensitive about trivial matters (think us ladies, at moon time ) but unlike women they don't have a rhythmic cycle to follow! They will probably start to compare themselves to friends, tv characters ect & want to start experimenting with fashion & the 'idea' of relationships (I know there is a lot of that talk going on at my school at the moment). To help balance out some of these hormonal fluxes try using Clary Sage & Geranium. 16.01.2022 Holding it together only just tonight in case you don't know, I'm a single mumma to 3 beautiful boys 14,12 & 10. Sometimes it's not going to be pretty but that's all good because I'm choosing to pursue something I'm passionate about I've shared this workshop here in case any of you are interested in Essential Oils.
