25.01.2022 "More than 400 people were confirmed killed, many swept away as tsunami waves triggered by a massive earthquake crashed into the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, ...and authorities expected the toll to rise sharply on Sunday as news arrives from remote areas." It’s hard to comprehend the scope of this terrible disaster. Our hearts go out to our Indonesian colleagues and church partners who’ve lost friends and relatives. Please join us in prayer today: For the people who have lost loved ones and are grieving For families and all those who’ve seen their homes destroyed For first responders, people and organisations bringing aid to communities affected For the Church in Indonesia, may it be a pillar of strength, support and shelter We are in contact with our local staff and church partners and will provide an update on how we plan to respond and ways you can help.

12.01.2022 When the team at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Horsham decided to actively do something about their steadily decreasing numbers, they engaged the youth and young... adults of their congregation to ask what they'd like to see in a service. On the last Sunday in July, Holy Trinity delivered 'SAME GOD, DIFFERENT SERVICE' to their existing congregation, local community and even local school children; it was a relaxed, inclusive and joyful take on their traditionally more traditional 9am service. And... the results are in - it was a great success! What did they do and how did they do it? You'll just have to keep an eye out for the full story in one of our upcoming newsletters! See more

02.01.2022 It is with great sadness - but no surprise that Church Council have decided effective from today that Sunday Church and all face to face gatherings will be suspended until further notice due to the seriousness associated with the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Church Council's decision to suspend all face to face gatherings was made because we want to ensure all our members, our minister and the wider community are kept safe as possible in these unprecedented times. Afte...r reviewing numerous sources of information, it is clear that ceasing all activities is the best way for us to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This decision is also in line with government initiative's/actions also being taken by many other mainline denominations in the wider church.
