18.01.2022 Early this morning, crews got paged to attend reports of a structure fire out at Bar Point which is a remote community on the Hawkesbury river. Crews had to respond to Mooney Mooney boat ramp and then be transported from Mooney Mooney via boat to attend the incident. On arrival crews found 2 houses fully alight and went straight into defensive strategies to protect the surrounding houses. Sadly the 2 houses have been completely destroyed. Thankfully everyone was accounted for and no injuries.
18.01.2022 On this day last year NSW recorded 17 concurrent Emergency Warnings. Communities in the Blue Mountains, Clarence Valley, Richmond Valley, Walcha, Armidale, Namb...ucca, Kempsey, Tenterfield, and the Mid Coast were all being impacted by fire. At 6pm 94 fires were burning across the state. While the losses on that day were significant they could have been far worse were it not for the extraordinary efforts of firefighters and community members. See more

Leave a comment below for suggestions of what you would like to hear about in these updates ... During October we had another busy month which saw our volunteer crews attending 20 Fire Calls The recent wet weather has been favourable so far this bushfire season. However with wetter conditions leads to higher risks on our roads, so please tell your family and friends to drive safely. Even with the wetter conditions predicted this summer bushfires can still occur, it’s a friendly reminder to please ensure that you have a fire plan. 02.01.2022 What a difference a year makes. On 29 October 2019 there was nearly 100 bush fires burning across the state, with some fires at Emergency Warning level. Twelve ...months to the day, weather conditions are very different, as is the level of fire activity. Remember fire conditions will return, so why not take the time now to discuss your plan with your family. See more
