It is thanks to all of our sponsors that we have been able to make 2020 another great year for the Kariong United FC Cougars.
18.01.2022 This Saturday we have multiple teams playing at Pluim Park. It is a big opportunity for those playing to experience the venue for Football, on the Central Coast. The day starts with two games at 10:30 am, the 11B’s on field 2 against Terrigal 2 and the 11C’s on field 3 against Terrigal 1. At 1:30pm our mens 35 D’s kick off on field 1 against Woy Woy. This game is then followed by our mens 35 C’s kicking off at 3:15pm against Wyoming, in a battle of 2nd v 3rd. Both are very ...important games for the teams. We end the day with our high flying NCS Pool Heating Division 1 mens side who take on Toukley. A 5pm kick off for Reserve grade and 7pm kick off for First grade. These teams currently sit at 2nd and 1st respectively on their competition ladders. 3 points for each team will help them both to stay at the top of the table. We hope that all teams over the weekend, at Pluim Park or anywhere else on the Central Coast, do the club proud both on and off the field with as many supporters watching whilst following social distancing regulations.

16.01.2022 This is a very important message from CCF for not just the players and supporters of our club but for every individual involved with other clubs from the Central Coast. As you are aware we have written to you all recently about our referees shortage and it continues to get worse. We are losing referees at a rapid rate and, while partly due to COVID, we have had numerous incidents of late where referees have been abused, threatened with violence and accosted in carparks. On... the weekend just gone we have had two serious incidents that have caused referees to question whether they continue. CCF continue to educate referees and put plans in place for the growth but we need your support. At the start of the season we had 226 referees across the Central Coast. Last weekend we had 90 available for appointment to games. Clubs we are at crisis point and we need your help. This can be done by making sure when referees turn up to your ground you greet them and let them know who they can call upon. If a tense game occurs ensure vested ground officials are able to walk referees off the field and keep crowds back and away from sidelines. If we can’t get this under control we may need to look at situations where we don’t send referees out to do games unless there is three of them together to support each other. I cant stress enough the seriousness of the issue. At this point we are looking at scenarios where we will need to implement club referee programs for next year, which is something we have avoided to date. While CCF can deal with incidents after the fact your ground and team officials can assist in prevention at games. We desperately need your help to protect referees for without them the game we all love would not be the same.
