25.01.2022 What do you value? A loaded question I know, but it's an important one. So many times, people leave their values at the door when it comes to marketing their business. There's sometimes a perception that in order to make money, you need to follow rules that sometimes feel out of alignment with what you believe.... That's SO old paradigm! Have you ever pushed your values aside in order to achieve a goal or to fit in? If you said no, then I would have to question that. I know I've done it many times for different reasons. There were times where I didn't have strong enough boundaries to say no, that people knew better than me, that in order to fit to meet my goals, I would have to bend. I remember being in an MLM feeling icky in what we were taught, but believing it was MY limiting beliefs that made me feel that way. Luckily I've gotten rid of those beliefs. And which is why I'm a warrior for helping womxn like you stand in your truth and to trust your intuition in life AND business. First things first, get back to what you value?? Is it kindness? love? honesty? freedom? abundance? Do you align the decisions in your life (including your business) with those values? Do you have the self trust to really stand by those values above all else? Do you have strong enough boundaries to say no when it doesn't feel good? This is aligned marketing. It will never feel icky if you are in total alignment with your values. You can have fun sharing your passion & purpose! So, I challenge you beautiful womxn, to show up in all your bravery. 17.01.2022 HOW TO BE INSPIRED & AUTHENTIC ONLINE As a womxn who is committed to living cyclical, I have found so much space & creativity in my life just by honouring my intuition, what my body is telling me and the energy around me. Which means that I have worked at keeping my boundaries strong and discerning while still having a loving & generous heart. And as a business owner, its imperative that I have a harmonious flow between being on a...nd showing up on socials and turning inwards to honour my energy, intuition and inner wisdom. It's the only way to show up in your brand authentically and also create powerful marketing that magnetises your audiences. This is how I embody my brand and continue to stay in integrity with my values. Whether we know it or not, we start comparing our worth to what we see in that square image & caption. I know you feel it. Tips for staying in your brilliance & authenticity (save for later): 1. Turn off notifications and block out time to create without distraction. 2. Create space & quiet time so that you can access and hear your own inner voice. How often do you get inspired after meditation? Just sayin... 3. Move that beautiful body of yours and remember to breathe. Physical activity & breathwork are incredibly powerful tools for moving oxygen around the body and creating amazing clarity and creativity. When you concentrate on creating space for yourself you access your own brilliance, your own light and use your own unique voice rather than sounding like the rest and blending in. 12.01.2022 When you take that courageous leap of being utterly and unashamedly you, you walk in your truth and your truth is felt by others. This is being magnetic. This is embodying your brand. This is standing in your superpower.... Let's give your inner child a big hug, tell her she's safe and finally throw off the shackles of comparison and not-enoughness. You're an adult now and you can do and BE what the fuck you want babe. Be unfuckwithable. Know your worth, forget the comparison and do what you came here to do. Your superpower is your authenticity. To stand out, you can't be like everyone else. Trying to be the same as other people. Sacrificing your values and integrity. Comparing yourself. Putting people on pedestals. You need to be BRAVE to be seen. To put yourself out there as the authentic YOU. It's not for the faint-hearted. 08.01.2022 BECOMING YOU... The word authenticity gets thrown around a lot lately. What does it mean to be authentic in your business? We somehow know what it means, but knowing how to BE authentic in your business and beyond is another thing altogether. It's not a linear process. There are so many pieces to the puzzle of "being authentic".... It really comes down to feeling safe. Safe to show up exactly as you are. Safe to share your stories Safe to share your truth and opinions. In my 20's & 30's I was a singer and performed on many many stages. At first, I couldn't even get up there without a couple of drinks (maybe more than that ;) to feel safe. As my journey in the gigging world continued, I found myself relying on alcohol less and less as I became comfortable being me (and being judged) on stage. I could see eyeballs on me... it's disconcerting and it requires bravery to show up like that. The more me I was the more I would connect with people. As I entered the faceless online world I had to learn how to translate the real-life Karla to the online Karla. The online world is a sea of profiles, trying to stand out, be seen & heard. But the way you stand out and get seen is NOT about following a cookie-cutter strategy or doing what everyone else is doing. It's about showing up fully expressed. Not being scared to polarise. Speaking your truth. And it's a journey of getting there. Feeling safe enough to do that. Letting go of limiting beliefs & thoughts that hold you back UNDERSTANDING yourself deeply & and one of the most important - being aligned to your values. 01.01.2022 Nothing much to say today actually loves, except to say, it’s okay to honour your cycles. You’re not the energiser bunny so you can’t ALWAYS be on. When your on make the most of it, when you’re not, make the most of it. When we honour our cycles. The cycles of nature, the moon snd the cosmos, we return to ease. The struggle happens when we go against what is.... Today I choose not to struggle but to flow. My business is busier than ever, but I still prioritise and schedule in ME. Don’t ever forget to do that. Taurus season just arrived and it’s time to bring in the pleasure vibes. The slow and steady vibes. Building the foundation of your business step by step with intention and plenty of room for feeling good.
