24.01.2022 NEWLY-WEDS THIS HAS BEEN BUGGING ME! I have seen newly married couples going out of their way to thank their amazing vendors on social media. It's fantastic for us and we really appreciate it. Thank you. HOWEVER...... the trend I'm seeing is that there is no mention of the celebrant. ... Just this morning I saw a post and the dog assistant/dogsitter was praised for keeping the dog occupied during the ceremony and still no mention of the celebrant. I understand we are all different and what is important to one couple may not be to another, but come on guys! Give us a break! We charge probably the least out of all your vendors and have the important legal responsibility for your marriage and celebration to exist so please, before you click the post button double check you've added us little dudes in your vendor appreciation posts. 06.01.2022 Today's wedding attire I ask all of my couples if they have a colour theme. I wont rock up in the same colour as the wedding party. Just trust me. 06.01.2022 It was COLD and it was WET for Sheri & Suz's intimate wedding! Not the best day for a beach wedding but we made it work! 2 bride's having rain on their day is surely goodluck right? I used my shawl to wipe the signing table dry, I used the sleeve of my dress to keep my tablet dry, I had a high visibility jacket over my PA system and signing chairs. A lovely guest held an umbrella over me for much of the ceremony. ... This one I definitely won't forget! There were laughs, hiccups and a lot of on the spot quick decisions which just made it all the more personal Oh and I nearly got a parking ticket from the local ranger! See more
