16.01.2022 We have roof (and importantly, gutters) to collect rain and a tank to collect it in. AND a tap to make it easier to access the contents. Next stop, fencing.

11.01.2022 We're born into this trap. The whole system is just set up in a way that's so hard to get out of. But luckily leaving this cycle is heaps of fun. Every time we ...grow lettuce, make kraut and brew beer instead of buying it, we're reclaiming a bit more balance for ourselves. And when we do these things with other people, we're reclaiming balance for our community and family. It's not practical to leap off the treadmill in one jump, but it's definitely possible to start small and slowly change habits that free us from this paradigm, at least to some extent. Life is made for living, after all #permacultureillustrator #worklesslivemore

10.01.2022 At lock up. Some minor things to do like extra techies in the roof (but too windy this arvo for me to get on ladder), some silicon in the odd hole where i made a mistake, another padbolt or two on the inside of the door, add some L brackets around the corners because I don't like the minimal amount of metal being held together. With any luck i can do most of that tomorrow. Pretty impressed i did all the framework myself, not brilliant but works. Needed the muscle to erect it all though!! Really appreciate all your assistance Alec and Jeff.

10.01.2022 We have been enjoying sunrises and sunsets like this one, every day. It's a healthy thing to do.

09.01.2022 A beaut day and the garage has been signed for and marked out on the ground, just a little larger than originally intended.

08.01.2022 Plans afoot .....

07.01.2022 Filled water tank now on site. Still need to install gutters on shed and connect to the tank. Add a proper tap so i can connect up a shower/s'house shack and things will be a bit comfy. Baby steps, baby steps. At least the trees can get water this summer.

06.01.2022 Hoping to build a shower shack soon. Have most of the bits ready. https://www.facebook.com/waterwally/videos/1073974589663041/

03.01.2022 A very long day at the formwork for the shed, but its ready to be positioned for the concrete pour in the morning. I'm learning a lot.

02.01.2022 The paperwork for the garage, workshop and patio have been sent to council. So excited.
