About the role: We have an exciting 2-year fixed term opportunity based in Karratha for a Trainee Catchment Ranger. The successful candidate will join the Treatment team and work across the surface water operational sites and catchment areas to inspect and maintain the areas and conduct surveillance. This is a fantastic opportunity to get paid whilst you are learning on the job. You will be trained and supported in: Inspecting and maintaining dam structures in accordance with Corporate policy and planned inspection and maintenance schedules Performing surveillance of surface water catchment areas Conducting inspections for Mining, Timber Harvesting and delegated private property to ensure water quality protection Conducting routine after hour patrols and emergency contingencies for Dam Safety, Bushfires, Missing Persons, etc Key skills and experience: Year 12 completion (ideally but not a requirement) Previous customer service experience Previous outdoors work experience Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
