18.01.2022 We are pleased to report that with your continued support work on the Stupa of Reconciliation continues. Thank you! The latest achievement is the rendering of the base walls which is necessary prior to the bottom three steps being constructed. Grahame kindly and generously donated his services to also render the gap above leading to the jut outs.... A contract has been awarded to complete the 3 steps - this is scheduled for July. Much help is still needed to complete the Stupas - Sacred Monuments project. Please consider contributing if you can and feel free to share the fundraising posters below. Thank you!

The world needs more positive energy right now, wouldn't you agree?... We need your help! In the Sutra of the White Lotus of the Sacred Dharma, it says: Walls are made from mud and bricks And a stupa of the Victorious One is made likewise ... 02.01.2022 The Gyalwang Karmapa's Advice Regarding Covid-19 In February, when the coronavirus outbreak was still in an earlier stage, the Gyalwang Karmapa gave advice dur...ing the Arya Kshema teachings on how to bring benefit to each other during this difficult time saying: "...when sentient beings have fear or danger, we have to do something to free them from that danger. For example, when there are natural disasters, predators, the dangers of war, famine, and plague, we need to do whatever we can to free them from that danger, support, and help them. The current example is the Covid-19 virus in China which has infected more than 75,000 people so far and killed more than 2,300. Just noting the news is not sufficient, we should ask ourselves, ‘What can I do to help?’ From one perspective, the situation is truly terrible but for a bodhisattva, it is a great opportunity to benefit other sentient beings. We have to work according to our own abilities and capacities. His Holiness emphasized that, at the very least, we can make aspirations such as, ‘May this disease come to an end,’ ‘May this epidemic be pacified,’ ‘May all sentient beings be freed from suffering, and ‘May all be cured from the illness’. The epidemic was now in the provinces of Szechuan and Qinghai, which have Tibetan populations, and had spread to Tibetan areas as well, he explained and urged everyone to recite Thangtong Gyalpo’s prayer, The Verses that Saved Sakya from Sickness: A Prayer for Pacifying the Fear of Disease." We have included a link to this prayer from Lotsawa House house below in English, French, and Tibetan for those that would like to recite it. https://www.lotsawahouse.org//prayer-pacifying-fear-illne/
