25.01.2022 Billions already eat insects regularly, and after eating quite a few we can see why. Texture like a sunflower seed, taste like a mushroom/prawn/nut/egg. Also...50% protein and super rich in calcium! #sustainable #insect #protein #delicious #foodporn #future

22.01.2022 Check out our 100% Aussie grown extra small black soldier fly larvae! Packed full of protein, calcium and other nutrients, these itty-bitty morsels are an excellent live feed for any fish, bird, or reptile, big or small!

22.01.2022 Dr Marlow is building our bespoke feeding line. It's great having such diverse and useful skill sets in the team! Also, check out the white shipping container in the background, where it all started just 2 years ago. #gettingitdone #startup #engineering #flyfactory #sustainable #insectsofinstagram #bsfl #foodwaste

21.01.2022 Karma3 went to Josh's Rainbow Eggs this week to collaborate on ways to include black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) in the diets of these truly happy and free-range hens. The chooks absolutely loved the 100kg of live and dried BSFL that we supplied. We look forward to making our insects a regular ingredient in layer diets to improve egg quality and environmental sustainability. #sustainable #natural #chemicalfree #freerange #insects #bsfl #chickens #eggs #localfood

15.01.2022 BLACK SOLDIER FLY FACT: Our little insects shed their exoskeletons 6 times as they grow. These exoskeletons are rich in chitin which can be used to make a sustainable and biodegradable plastic substitute. So many uses in one bug! #sustainable #plasticfree #plastic #insect #future

13.01.2022 1kg of our washed larvae ready for one of our lovely customers. Naturally rich in calcium, our insects make great live feed for reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and small mammals for both zoos and pets! #insect #zoo #pet #sustainable #natural #chemicalfree

10.01.2022 BLACK SOLDIER FLY FACT: The larvae of the black soldier fly (BSFL) naturally turn dark brown when they have finished eating and growing. This indicates that they are prepupa and ready to start the pupation process. #colourcoded #insect #sustainable #protein #BSFL #foodwaste

08.01.2022 HARVEST TIME! Though it may look like a grain harvest, this is actually our highly #efficient #insect #farm in action. We actually #harvest like this every. single. day. This is just the beginning of our journey towards improving #sustainable #food security!

02.01.2022 We are excited to be going to Waste Expo Australia in a couple of weeks and sharing our food waste recycling vision! We look forward to meeting many other likeminded individuals working hard to innovate Australia's supply chains to minimise our impacts on the environment. https://www.wasteexpoaustralia.com.au/
