18.01.2022 Karma Waters supports the Beach not Bitumen campaign in support of preserving our unique Scarborough dune ecosystem that people come from far and wide to enjoy. Escaping the hectic life that modern society has become, to enjoy our natural wonder our coastline provides and to get back to nature, becomes harder to achieve with more natural landscapes being lost to development. Surely in this day and age there are alternatives? Careful, educated planning should be able to accommodate the increased pedestrian traffic resulting in a family/people friendly development without increasing unwanted traffic - especially through our unique historic bushland that makes Scarborough a natural beauty. Please follow the "beach not bitumen" campaign on Facebook and help keep our precious dunes in Scarborough for everyone to enjoy.
