25.01.2022 A local mine site contacted me regarding an injured owl/hawk/who knew. I had a heat source, spare frozen mice used for snakes and an enclosure, so I took it in (we are in the middle of the desert so that's as good as it gets sometimes!) After contacting a few organisations we were put through to WA Conservation of Raptors who gave us their time and a wealth of advice. Thank you so much Stuart and Amanda, this little fella is now being given as much support to fight for health. He will be receiving round the clock care. Being remote is a struggle at times and it is a blessing to connect to like minded people who without reward care for a soul. We will do everything we can to see this fella rehabilitated xx

21.01.2022 I'm drawn to adopting dogs that are often overlooked. My Akita at 2 years went through two different rescues, was held in kennels for months plus a couple of foster homes before we adopted her. She does have dog reactivity issues and we meet new challenges all the time! My family used to look like secret agents on a highly sensitive mission taking her to dog beaches, parks etc because although dogs are required to be on the lead we were always petrified of the "what ifs". I think it's amazing that people open their hearts and home to dogs who don't fit the "perfect" mould because they are absolutely worth it! They, just like any social dog deserve to be walked, see, smell and feel different environments. Please respect others space and keep dogs on leads if they don't have recall training

14.01.2022 Sharing a product that has worked wonders for my Akita who for years has suffered from allergies. Unfortunately Luna is allergic to a multiple of things; grass, most pollens, a range of proteins and has severe flea allergy dermatitis- basically her immune system from dealing from all these triggers is weak and so tired, every season she'd find a new external factor that she wasn't able to handle anymore. 04.01.2022 I absolutely love updates!! Barney is a 13 year old rescue boy (now adopted by the most loving and devoted family). He's got arthritic joints and of late is showing weakness in his hindquarter. His Mum was very concerned as he was no longer attempting to jump on the couch (his fav spot) and wasn't seeming himself. ... 02.01.2022 I was so privileged to give a treatment to 9 year old staffy Meika today. Meika presented with back end issues- struggling to get up and down at times and not seeming her happy self. Her left patella showed signs of inflammation but it was her right side that compensated for the issue and became tight and movement was restricted. She was very clever and hid the right side from me during the entire treatment! This is why holistic care is so important! Animals are so stoic, i...t's sometimes only until we visually see our animal is in pain that we as owners know there is a problem. We started the treatment with a self selection of essential oils (zoopharmacognosy). Meika chose: Mandarin, Neroli and Helichrysm. This allowed me to know before the body work commenced Meika had an idea of where/what she needed help with. Meika chose oils that predominately are known for detox. This made so much sense as her Mum said her knee had been inflamed for a little while. After the treatment Meika went straight to the water bowl and lapped up the H2O- a very positive indication that the treatment had moved toxins and she inherently knew to drink water to aid this metabolic process. Meika is a wonderful and gentle soul and I can't wait to meet with her again
