16.01.2022 Awesome effort despite the loss! Royal match report: Innalooo 73 def King's 65. Today our King's travelled to Innalooo for a season warm up match against the Innaloo Bulldogs .... It was a hot day and we successfully fielded 9 of our king's mixed with some Queen's park & Murdoch Vikings . The first QTR we started well and dominated possession but could not convert .Our very first goal was kicked by Steve from Queens Park who finished with 3 . In the last 5 minutes of the first Innaloo booted 4 goals to hold a 3 goal lead at QTR time (with some help of a few extra players up fwd). For the rest of the match our lads took control and dare say won all last 3 qtrs with good ball movement from Muzz & hard running from the young guns Ryan & Tom. Big mentions to Ronald who also played a blinder along with David from Murdoch Uni Vikings AFL Club. To only lose by 8 points to a team who have been mentioned as the divisions top team , with no bench and 5 days notice is a tremendous effort by all ! Best players: Muzz, Ronald , Tom , Foss, Clanga , David & Brent . Next week we join forces sharing with Murdoch Uni Vikings AFL Club and will play another season warm up match @ Murdoch Uni.
