23.01.2022 It was fantastic to have 18 children plus Mums and Nanas at Storytime today. As last week was Dental Health Week we talked about looking after our teeth. We had a story about a dinosaur who made a cake (a ‘sometimes’ food) and one about a gorilla who thought he didn’t want to eat a banana but then he did! (Healthy food) We sorted pictures of healthy/not healthy food and pretended to brush our teeth - and Teddy’s too! We had fun singing and moving our bodies then everyone took home an activity pack to make a Happy Tooth wand. Our next Storytime will be on Wednesday August 26 at 10:15am.

15.01.2022 We had a 'wheely' good session at Storytime today with stories and songs about wheels and vehicles. At the end of the session the children took home an activity pack to make a rocket. Congratulations to Jylan for being a 10x Storytime Star Unfortunately we have to cancel our next 2 planned Storytime sessions (September 9 & 23) as Sue will be unavailable. BUT - we will have a Storytime session on Wednesday September 16th instead.

03.01.2022 Today at Storytime we welcomed 22 children and congratulated Ally on being a 5x Storytime star We shared 2 books about butterflies including the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Lots of children already know this wonderful story so they were able to read the story along with me. We sang songs about bees and caterpillars and spiders and everyone took home an activity pack to make a Very Hungry Caterpillar headband. Please add your photos of completed headbands on this page - we would love to see them. Our next Storytime will be on Wednesday October 21 and is in the middle of Children's Book Week so we will be focussing on the theme - Curious Creatures, Wild Minds!
