25.01.2022 Karragarra had a great day last week at the DN Sale with all bulls selling through the ring to top $17,000 and release an average of $10,100. We were thrilled to see 90% of the draft go to return buyers - we truely appreciate the continued support our buyers give us year-after-year. KG will be offering 13 bulls at the Roma Droughtmaster Sale on Fri Oct 23 - we are really happy with the line of young bulls we have drafted for this sale. As always pre-sale inspections are welcome, stay tuned to our fb page for more photos of the Roma team.

25.01.2022 Our first ever trip to Gympie for the National female sale. Our 2 joined females have been withdrawn due to injury and illness but we present 8 Polled unjoined heifers plucked straight from our replacement female mob.

24.01.2022 Highlands Droughtmaster Sale 5th of March. Lot 29 - Karragarra 1341 (P) (Eligible for registration). A big strong, correctly made son of our home grown sire Matador(PP). Very balanced with sire appeal and good bone. He carries a thick deep hindquarter with flank and good underline. A must inspect for top end commercial producers or potential stud sire duties.

24.01.2022 Roma Droughtmaster Sale Friday 23rd of October Lot 43 - Karragarra Que Batter (P)... A young bull that is super deep and soft. He carries a terrific underline with a great skin and a 136 EMA.

23.01.2022 2020 Droughtmaster National Sale - 15th September. Lot 122 - Karragarra Playboy (P) Playboy is a super easy-doing bull. Holds his condition well even through the dry. He is extra thick, wide and deep. Soft and beefy with good bone. He is all muscle and bred from an outstanding Glenlands Quill daughter.

22.01.2022 2020 Droughtmaster National Sale - 15 Sep. Lot 126 - Karragarra Queball Muscle bounces off Queball from every angle. Super fine and clean underline with a square hindquarter. Extra long and thick topline that runs right into his shoulder. Beef and more beef here.

18.01.2022 Roma Droughtmaster Sale 25th Oct. Lot 45 - Karragarra Polo (P) What a powerhouse young bull full of red meat. The depth of body and extra thickness are real standouts in this super slick skinned sire. He carries his hindquarter so deep and full through the twist and thigh. An exciting youg prospect thats full of potential.

17.01.2022 Glenlands D Wakeboard (PP) His calves were highly anticipated and didn't he deliver the goods. The first appraisal of his progeny show the strength in the bloodlines. Calf, after calf, after calf are all made just like him. Exactly what we want in our sires. Consistency in the progeny means consistency for our customers.

17.01.2022 Coming along nicely..... One of our young bulls bound for the Roma Sale being held on Friday the 23rd of October. We have our best 14 rising two year old's making the trip.

17.01.2022 New Sire Selection Skye Ford (P). Our $20,000 purchase from the National sale. A bull with real beef credentials in a growthy package. He is beautifully balanced, with great feet. He offers our herd extra bone, square, thick and deep from behind, clean sheathed, big testicals with a topline that is thick all the way through. Scanned 144 EMA at 22 months and is sired by Glenlands D Rambo who is setting the pace at Glenlands. There is very little to fault in Ford and he offers just the right blend to match with our cows.

07.01.2022 2020 Droughtmaster National Sale - 15th Sep. Lot 128 - Karragarra Quimby (P) Here is a bull that offers growth, length and style in a big clean coated package. He tips the scale at 980kg with an EMA of 142. Stands square with a real crest and sire appeal. A purpose bull with a great pedigree.

05.01.2022 We are extremely grateful for the support we received in Roma today. Starting the day with the highlight of winning best pair of bulls - judged by well-respected stud producers Matt and Anna Ahern. Later in the morning our first bull into the ring Karragarra Pistol topped the entire sale when he was purchased for $18,000 by the Farquhar family Rolleston. Other sale highlights included Karragarra Pacesetter being purchased by Yackatoon Grazing and Karragarra Polo selling to RS...VP Droughtmasters - both bulls releasing a $13,000 price tag, while Dean and Julie Allen walked away with Karragarra Pivot for $10,000. Overall our draft of nine bulls averaged $10,111 with bulls going to both repeat and new buyers. Thank you to the agents, sale committee members and all bidders both online and at the sale today. 04.01.2022 2020 Droughtmaster National Sale - 15th Sept. Lot 123 - Karragarra Quicksilver (S) One of the last Pattern son's to go to auction. He has great bone with a smooth and long beefy body. He is a free moving bull that stands strong and proud with a good underline.

03.01.2022 With it being only one month away, we put some focus on our upcoming Highlands Sale team. We have an even pen of bulls catalogued lots 29 to 38. All are Poll or scur and display our usual strength of even, consistent, industry focused bulls. Be in Clermont on Friday the 5th of March.

We were so proud to see Karragarra genetics performing throughout the catalogue with Karragarra Lieutenant siring not only the top price bull of the day at $120,000 - but he also had many other sons represented in the sale team - all achieving incredible results under the breeding excellence of the Glenlands prefix - its an absolute credit to the Childs family... we tip our hats to you all!
