We are looking for tech savvy locals interested in becoming Digital Mentors who will offer support to develop the digital skills and confidence of less confident locals. 11.01.2022 OK, we're all exhausted and trying to tame the littles is getting harder in the lead up to the festivities. So why not come down to playgroup tomorrow morning and let them burn off some steam. Our second last casual playgroup for the year - tomorrow 9am - 11am, just $10/family and fruit to share. 07.01.2022 WHAT'S ON AT KFC?? With the festivities coming to a close it's time to start planning some activities to keep the kidlets busy. We're kicking of with WATER PLAY WEDNESDAY! This Wednesday 6th January 9am - 11am, this free session is for parents and kids. ... This morning of fun will coincide with the Humpty Dumpty Toy Library opening times (9.30am - 11am). Monday 11th & Wednesday 13th KIDS SEWING CLASSES - leaning to make your own scrunchies!!! These two hour sessions are for children 8 years old + (under 16yo will need an adult to assist/supervise). Class sizes will be limited to 5 children for each session, will cost $15 per child with pre-prepared materials and take home instructions supplied. We have two sewing machines, though recommend bringing your own if you have one. Monday 11th January 9am - 11am Monday 11th January 1pm - 3pm Wednesday 13th January 9am - 11am Please PM me (Bess), email [email protected] or call 9144 1740 for any further info or to register your interest. This will be our last session for 2020! 9 - 11am, just $10/family + fruit to share Humpty Dumpty Toy Library will also be open to borrow and return toys 10.30 - 12pm... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our families, members and friends for supporting Karratha Family Centre through what can only be described as a pretty ordinary year.
