20.01.2022 Today marks a special day for our hardest working member of the KMH family. After a long process, Lorcan OReilly has become a true Aussie and has the certificate to prove it. 8 years, and sticking it out through the highs and lows, we would be truly lost without you.... Your loyalty and commitment is second to none. On behalf of everyone at KMH, congratulations mate!!! Ps- you cant leave now

19.01.2022 To all of our valued customers, With the current situation at the moment, and in conjunction with our previous post, we have made a few small changes in how we normally operate until further notice . We are taking extra precautions by cleaning and disinfecting the machines before and after hire. ... We will also be minimising unnessacry traffic into the yard by having the gates closed during work hours. We will happily open up for our customers picking up and returning equipment. Our staff, their families and our customers are very important to us and we thank you for your understanding during this uncertain time. Take care Kind regards, Steve

13.01.2022 Long Live Local! 7 Reasons Why Supporting Local Business is Good for Your Community. 1. Local businesses are more likely to utilize other local businesses such as banks, service providers, and farms.... 2. For every $100 you spend at local businesses, $68 will stay in the community. 3. Independent retailers return more than three times as much money per dollar of sales to the community in which they operate than chain competitors. Independent restaurants, for example, return more than two times as much money per dollar of sales than national restaurant chains. 4. Small businesses account for 65% of all new jobs over the past 17 years. In addition to helping build the local economy, there are also notable intangible benefits that come from supporting businesses in your local community. 5. Local businesses are owned and operated by your neighbors! They care about and are invested in the well-being of your community and its future. 6. Local businesses are more accountable to their local communities and donate more money to non-profits. KMH for example, are long time supporters and sponsors of Nickol Bay Speedway, Dampier Billy Cart Derby, Karratha BMX Club, Karratha Motox, Local Variety bash cars, and Karratha Country Club. 7. Supporting local businesses is also great for the environment because they often have a smaller carbon footprint than larger companies.
