Pablo is our favourite Triple M radio station host and he has just completed the amazing effort of 5km a day for 365 days and has just committed to do it all over again- another 5km a day for 365 days It's all for a great cause. Please see the GoFundMe link below to raise funds for kids with genetic diseases- he's aiming for $5k but I reckon we can smash that!! This guy

18.01.2022 Thanks everyone for the great turnout this morning despite school holidays and the humidity!! Great to see a few new faces again today- the more the merrier . Please check in on FB to spread the word, and tag yourself in any pics. I think I missed some people this week- my apologies. We're going to start running at 7:00am as of next week to start preparing us for when we become a legit parkrun. I will post an event in the next few days. 17.01.2022 Don't forget about #notparkrun 0630hrs on Saturday. Please be aware there appears to be a chance of rain and or thunderstorms. We will run unless there appear to be danger close lightening strikes- or anything putting us in danger. See you there no coffee van this Saturday.

17.01.2022 Great news- Dampier (Hampton Oval) parkrun is almost ready to launch! They have been given a launch date of 8 May @ 7am and to show that we support our sea side neighbours we will change our #notparkrun that week to Sunday 9 May so that we can all head to Dampier and make sure they have an amazing inaugural run. Also - we get #twoparkruns in that week and a coffee by the sea They will be looking for runners / walkers / joggers and also volunteers. @jessicamilliner is the Hampton Oval parkrun director, and all queries are to be directed to her please. She will create an event post closer to the date and I will share to our page.

15.01.2022 Happy Easter Saturday #notparkrun - awesome turn out this morning everyone, great to see even more new faces! Please tag yourselves in photos and check in on FB if possible You all earned Easter eggs . Thanks again to Rio Tinto , Karratha Earthmoving & Sand Supplies , Yara Pilbara , Pilbara Ports Authority & Land Surveys for your generous donations to get us fully funded. Not long to go now guys and we will be "official" parkrun. Put it in your diaries 8 May @ 0700hrs will be Dampier a inaugural "Hampton Oval parkrun" and we will have our "Bayview parkrun" that week on Sunday 9 May. Great effort everyone! See you next week
