25.01.2022 Hi team. Sorry, no social tennis tonight. Power is out, toilets have some damage and the courts are still very wet. We hope all our members are safe with minimal damage following TC Damien.

13.01.2022 Over the last weekend we had Tennis West at our home Club, Tarcoola Park Tennis Club, to deliver the Tennis Australia Community Coaching Course to our amazing H...ead & Assistant Coaches. This course was proudly funded for all 5 of our coaches by SCTA/RTSA. Well done Tobi, Emma, Josh, Alana & Lilian. Lilian made the 1200km each way from Karratha Tennis Club to complete this course! It’s these efforts & the dedication to our quality of delivery that sets us apart from the rest & why we are Australia’s Largest & ONLY dedicated Regional & Remote servicing Coach provider.

12.01.2022 PLAY TENNIS - It's Safe! Tennis Australia & Tennis West have advised we are now able to go back on court with some conditions! Term 2 2020 Coaching Programs are open for Bookings! See the Flyers - Share them around!... 4 week programs from Monday May 18th at Dampier Tennis Club, Karratha Tennis Club & Wickham Recreation Precinct! These Programs will be under some COVID restrictions: - Some smaller group sizes will be implemented - Loan rackets will be spayed with Disinfectant before & after each use (it is advised to bring your own racket) - Individual Buckets will be used to collect the balls during coaching lessons this is to minimize contact with the balls directly. (each child will have there own tube or bucket to use) - Buckets will be cleaned between lessons - Head coach has Disinfectant & paper towel on court - Club water fountains remain closed to Children's use (Parents & Coaches may fill bottles for Children if required) - Club Toilet facilities remain closed unless unavoidable use is required We thank you all for your continued support & participation in our Programs & look forward to seeing you all back on court in this Term! Due to COVID restrictions, group sizes have been reduced. We will add extra groups if required which will effect time slots. Tennis will run on the June long weekend. 05.01.2022 Hi Members, As you can appreciate, the City of Karratha is absolutely flat out trying to get to all the damage caused by Cyclone Damien. Unfortunately, the tennis court lights are on that long list. Junior Tennis with Coach Heath continues as normal, however since we have no lights, Social Tennis on Mondays and Thursday nights is cancelled until further notice.... I'm sorry that we don't have an expected date for this yet, but we are working with the shire to understand the outlook, and when we have information we will share it. Thanks, Stuart

05.01.2022 Social tennis starts this Monday the 28th of January for any new or past tennis players, from 7 till 9pm. We've all seen how it is supposed to be done from the summer of tennis all over the TV, now come down and show us how easy it is. If worried about your abilities, don't be, as we all started somewhere, and after a month without a hit will probably be starting there again. Feel free to come along for a look as well if you are too worried, as it is very social.

04.01.2022 MOVEMBER is a great cause to support.... The team at Tennis West are growing Mo’s and Moving to raise money for Movember Australia. So far they’ve raised $1,795... and have MOVED 1,468km of the 3,500kms they aim to ‘Move’ in November. I’ve decided to do my bit in helping to raise some good coin for Movember and Men’s Mental Health and have pledged that: If the Tennis West team can raise $3000 - I’ll just keep my Mo, BUT, if the Tennis West Team raise $5000 or more then I’ll shave the lot!!! It’s been over 7 years since I was last clean shaven so it’s a big pretty big deal but 100% worth it for such a great cause... plus my amazingly tolerant & supportive Wife Maranda Kretschmann would probably appreciate it! 03.01.2022 Last week the Movember Australia offices celebrated the incredible generosity of the WA tennis community when Tennis West reached a massive $2,500 raised for me...n's health Just a few days later, we've reached an even bigger milestone. The tennis community has surpassed a momentous $3,000, which will see WA's very own Jarron Kretschmann shave down his beard of over 7 years all in the name of helping males worldwide live happier, healthier, longer lives.
