23.01.2022 With the festive season fast approaching it is time for the Karratha VFRS to get planning for our 2020 KVFRS Santa Lolly Run, the lolly run will be conducted between the 4th-12th December. Can one representative from each school please message us with their end of year/graduation function dates and we will do our best to plan our schedule around these days.
22.01.2022 A section of Hillview Road between Balmoral Road and Sharpe Ave will be closed with detours in place on Saturday 5 September from 5am to 1pm for the Karratha Emergency Services Open Day. Head down and check out what your local emergency services have to offer!
21.01.2022 It's that time of year again!!! Karratha VFRS Santa Lolly Run starts this year on the 3rd and finishes on the 12th December.... ATT: Please DO NOT throw balloons or spray water at our Bedford (including adults) and remember this all in fun so please go easy on throwing balloons at our other vehicles.

09.01.2022 FLAME GRILLED Firefighters have said fast acting employees helped to save a fast food outlet in Karratha. A triple zero call was made at 9AM, reporting a fire... in the fast food outlets kitchen. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said staff used a fire blanket to smother the flames and prevent the fire from spreading. The cause of the fire was accidental and the total damage is not yet known.

07.01.2022 Karratha Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service held our Annual Awards dinner last night, we would like to thank all our volunteers for another year of volunteering, thanks to our employers for releasing us to attend incidents, our supporters and the families of our volunteers. This year we were honoured to award ex-captain Craig Watts with life membership to the brigade and also celebrated the service awards of the following people:...
