06.01.2022 "I would like to try directing in the future and making my own theatre because I don't see people that look like me on stage, TV or film a lot, and would love t...o make something with young Aboriginal women as the driving force. Film is another thing I'm interested in - I've never worked in film before so I'm interested that process and developing my skills in the arts. And now because I have a theatre background, and have had the incredible opportunity to learn and grow at a place like State Theatre Company, it gives me a foundation to learn and observe and see where that takes me." Meet the incredible Alira McKenzie-Williams, our Stage Management Trainee. She's been an assistant stage manager, assistant director and all round theatre gun, and she's set to have a huge career in the arts. We're thrilled to work with her. Your support this End of Financial Year helps us continue to shape the next generation of Australian storytellers:https://www.givenow.com.au/eofy2018
