24.01.2022 Karrinyup Scouts and Senior Cubs (Ethan, Alberto, Cooper, Cian, Martin, Jamie & Eloise) have returned from an EPIC Campwest 2021!! Their adventurous activities included 7 nights camping under canvas, daily hikes, cooking for 42 people, treetop ziplines, canoeing, aqua park, perth zoo amazing race, catamaran, power boating, raft building, rock climbing, mural painting, tunnels, archery, escape room, human foosball and a market day selling our homemade woggles and other items. Our campsite construction included a massive dining tent and kitchen, wash station, camp gate and 20 tents. Evening activities included the choice of an outdoor cinema, live music, chill zone tent or talent show. The unit voted that Cam’s new Scout Leader name would be Burger our very own Eloise came up with it! Burger now needs a strong coffee :)

21.01.2022 In this world pandemic time, traveling is the most difficult thing to do. However, our Joeys had traveled to Venezuela tonight. One of our Joey-Danielle‘s patents Lissete and Marco both are Scouts from Venezuela. They shared their traditional food -arepa with us tonight. We played a fun Venezuela game as well. We also made Thank you cards for Friends of Gwelup Lake and Hamersley community garden. Thank you for these friends in our community to look after our Joey. New Youth Program begin!! Rubie had been nominated as the 1st unit leader of Karrinyup Joey.

16.01.2022 **NO SCOUTING THIS WEEK ** With the lockdown taking effect from 6pm tonight the planned recommencement of scouting this week have been delayed until further notice.

12.01.2022 Here are some photos from our cooking night at Cubs. The Cubs made yummy mini quiches, practiced their knots and finished the evening by making their own woven woggles in their Patrol colours.

06.01.2022 Here are a few photos from an awesome day spent at Cubilee 2020. The Cubs had great fun learning to make ropes, going on water slides, rock climbing, riding the dunking machine and generally having a hoot! Loads of fun for all.

03.01.2022 We had such a fun night with the Scouts this evening. To kick things off, we played a fast and furious game of newspaper hockey/basketball followed by some boomerang throwing. We finished things off by painting our own boomerangs. It was great to learn what all the Aboriginal dot art symbols actually mean.
