25.01.2022 We couldnt even get to 10am without someone stealing. This lovely individual helped herself to portable phone chargers (2 in total). Unfortunately we only managed to recover one as we were unware of the first theft. You will see that this lady casually grabs the item and then holds it on the side of her body opposite to us (blocked from our view) and then leaves the store whilst we appear to be completely unware as we were busy serving our customers

Man in white keeps an eye out so bucket hat man can steal anything in sight.... We fortunately caught up with these guys at Citybeach surf store, retrieved our products whilst preventing them stealing in the act. Those bags around their shoulders arent for shopping!

11.01.2022 Can you help? House, our retailer next to us had a problem this morning. It would appear this gentleman grabbed a knife block from their front display and forgot to pay for the item. It no doubt slipped his mind. CCTV 11:15:43 Gentleman walks past House and glances over to their store and then decides to backtrack.... 11:16:31 Grabs $200 knife block and comes to "browse" in our store. You will see that he glances out to the mall in search for his lost brother or pet dog... 30 seconds later he gets bored and leaves our store and the shopping centre. 10.01.2022 Do you know this person? Description - 6ft3, skinny, irish and struggling hard to grow a beard) This man came in today and tried to pay for items using a counterfeit $50. After discussing this with him we then found out that he had another counterfeit $50 in his wallet. We took this off him aswell! He said he had sold his car on Gumtree and received a whole heap of $50 - he must be innocent then right? An innocent man would not bolt from the shopping centre when we told him that it would be a good idea to discuss the matter with security. This man successfully committed this same offence in other stores in Karrinyup today.

05.01.2022 Retailer thieving myth #2 - Approaching customers will prevent theft. We couldnt even get to 9am before this thieving scum entered our store. Take note to how she holds her handbag, it is kept low and open. I approached the woman to provide assistance and as soon as my back was turned the magazine was stashed straight into her bag like she has done this countless of times. I did the right thing and notified security as surely they will handle it (no luck there). This highly... intelligent thieving individual thought it would be smart to walk past our store again. Wrong! Stolen goods (from Smiggle and our store) were for children which tells us she is competing for mother of the year award with our lady from last week. Time to get a job lady! See more
