24.01.2022 It’s a gaggle of Gillards as Henry McLandsborough, Charlie McLandsborough, Matthew Hansford-Taylor and Josh Sargent take on the ACT State Titles this weekend in Canberra. Josh has been the fastest of the juniors with a P1, P2, DNF in the first 3 Heats. Charlie in seniors had a DNF, P4, P3 ... Tomorrow Pre-Final and the Finals!

22.01.2022 AKC Round 3 Race Wrap Up Monarto, S.A. Riley Blaxell contested the cadet 9 class and had an outstanding weekend with personal bests all the way. Qualifying P3 from 24 competitors, Riley had great pace and track position and finished the heats in P2, P3, P2, and P3. Not often you get to say that about a national meet! ... The Final had Riley off the front row and the shift in weather to wet was no concern, but a turn 2 incident had him facing the wrong way and relegated to P24. A huge disappointment for the young charger, but he never gave up and drove from 24th to cross the line in 8th, passing 15 karts along the way. Riley took a bunch of points to the championship and sits in 10th overall. Matthew Hansford-Taylor made his debut in the KA2 class after contesting KA4 for rounds 1 & 2. Obviously a big step up and the round proved to be a development weekend for Matthew. He qualified in P25 from 30 with Heat results of P24, P26, DNF, DNF. As a result he started the Final off P29 and crossed the line in 24th. We are proud of both drivers as they continue to develop their skills in driving at the national level, and look forward to Round 4 in Emerald.

21.01.2022 Karting Addiction has drivers racing at different tracks this coming weekend. In the Karting NSW State Championship Rd 3 at Lithgow, Matthew Hansford-Taylor currently has a 9-point lead in Junior Light. Reg Barry will also contest the Junior Light class this weekend.... Henry McLandsborough will race Junior Performance where he is currently in 5th place in the championship. Ollie McLandsborough is poised in 3rd place in Senior Performance just 17 points from the leader, followed up by Charlie Mclandsborough just 16 points behind that in 6th place. Riley Blaxell of Blaxell Brothers Racing steps up to his first Cadet 12 race at the Junior Sprint Classic at Pucka in a quality field of 36 drivers. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!

17.01.2022 Great result for Matthew Hansford-Taylor piloting his Gillard Racing Karts 101 and TG16 to a double podium in Junior Light and Junior Performance at Lismore Kart Club. Matthew took P1 in Junior Light and P2 for the weekend in Junior Performance ahead of Henry McLandsborough (P4) also on a Gillard.

09.01.2022 Karting Addiction congratulates Henry McLandsborough for his win in Junior Performance in the NSW state championships at Port Macquarie. Affectionately nicknamed "Captain Slow", Henry and his TG14 Gillard Kart dominated the Junior performance class with Pole position and wins in all heats and the final. Matthew Handsford-Taylor was Henry's rear gunner for the weekend with several 4th places and fastest laps in his Gillard TG16. Henry and Greg McLandsborough have been great em...bassadors for the Gillard Karts this year also taking out Junior Performance in the NSW southern stars series. 06.01.2022 Great to see a few new kids racing their Dino Karts at Eastern Creek for the final round of the NSKC Club Championship. Two of the boys were racing their very first meet and did a great job. Aiden Lord in cadet 12 and Charlie Lord in cadet 9 with young Joshua Bidwell also in cadet 9 in just his fourth race. All three had a great day and Josh finished up with a new PB at the track. Karting Addiction was there supporting these drivers and Dads, helping with kart setup and general advice. It’s great to be a part of their journey into karting.

03.01.2022 Couple of proud lads here; Ollie McLandsborough taking out the Southern Star Series Red Plate in Senior Performance Light. Ollie was devastated during the week when his Gillard Kart was stolen and set alight!! His burnt out kart was not salvageable and to the rescue came Tim Weston loaning his Gillard TG14 for Ollie to race this weekend in Griffith. Ollie took P2 for the round and P1 for the Series after 25 races. Congratulations too to Reginald Barry also earning the Red Pla...te series win in Junior Light in his Gillard 101. Reggie fought hard all series and had a tough weekend in Griffith, finishing the series equal on points but awarded the series win on count back. Close racing!! Well done boys!
02.01.2022 One of our drivers, and friends, had their Gillard Kart stolen last night in Bathurst, taken to a local park and set alight. A senseless act of destruction that has devastated this dedicated karting family. No, the kart was not insured and at $10,000 to replace kart, engine, mychron, magnesium wheels etc the McLandsborough's need your support to help get Ollie McLandsborough back on the track. Ollie had selflessly volunteered his kart for someone else to race last weekend, and that's the kind of people they are so please give if you can.
