23.01.2022 Hey Members, We are chasing volunteers for the race weekend, Canteen, Flag marshal and Grid Marshall. We need these positions filled for the weekend. Flags - Air Conditioned comfort, in the Queens Castle. ... Gird Marshall - Down on the grid getting among it. Canteen - Air Conditioned - Never be hungry.

22.01.2022 FASTKARTS drivers, spectators and followers in Emerald. This weekend we are regrettably forced to cut the weekend short for safety reasons with the extreme heat...wave currently affecting the area this weekend. Today we took temp readings of greater than 60 degrees on track temp and with the tyres struggling to work it was deemed in the interest of driver safety to call it a day and work on our next return. Thank you everyone for coming and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon enough.... when it’s not so hot!!

22.01.2022 Hey guys, can I just remind people over the next 4 to 6 weeks to put some ideas forward to our club secretary on how our proposed club championships might look for 2021 . This is your club championship and I would hope that we can have a great discussion on how they may look in 2021. We will have a meeting in the new year and formulate a plan based on your feedback on how the championship will run . Let's make this happen, its been along time since we have run a club championship and I know its going to be fun and exciting. Kindest regards Dean Davies .

21.01.2022 Hi everyone, I would just like to thank all those who turned up to the working bee today , we achieved everything on the list and more. All ripple strip's painted and look fantastic. The centre control tower has had the bench refitted and secured ( thankyou Karen and Tarina ). The grandstand has had the roof fitted back on ( Thankyou Alan and helpers). All the weedeating has been done around sandtraps .... Infield mowing completed. Tyre barriers refitted back into position. A big thankyou to our new members who turned up to help. A fantastic team effort. Just a bit of housekeeping, if you are using any part of our facility that requires you to access a building PLEASE lock up after yourself. I found the canteen sliding door unlocked, the scales shed unlocked, and the store room behind the noms room unlocked . All these areas have alot of geared stored in these areas that cost alot of money . Please be mindful. Once again thank you all for your time and effort today . Next week David Old will be out at the track grooming our sandtraps .

21.01.2022 Hey guys don't forget the working bee tomorrow morning, I am hoping for six people to do the painting of the ripple strip's (all gear supplied) can someone ple...ase bring a petrol blower and battery operated drills so we can clean out the ripple strip's, i have been out here today and cleaned the ripple strips were i can . Need and couple of guys to assist Alan with the grandstand roof , and Karen will need a hand with the bench top in the centre control tower. 10.01.2022 Hello Emerald Karter’s! Just remember to renew your club membership on CMS otherwise you can't nominate for some awesome racing that is coming up for example Gladstone day nighter / enduro! Also if our fantastic club members can get excited and please help out with some whipper snipping, as we are all aware the grass around our home has grown with all this rain we have received. ... Well the track is no different. Its out of control. Ideally we need all our members to get a whipper snipper and help out. Many hands make light work and it shouldn’t' be down to just a few to donate their time. If we don't see some increase of working bee attendance or just coming out in some free time the executive will be forced to reduce our freedom of facility usage that we currently enjoy. FYI 2021 is going to be a huge year for our club, many projects and State Titles on. We have one of the best facilities in the country. Let’s get excited and help our club be the best it can be.

We are running open performance on Saturday, and as per the rules you will need to run MG Yellow tyres . Not MG reds, or Mojos. Hopefully this will clarify it . 01.01.2022 Hi everyone, im just letting our members know that our last social race meeting will be on Saturday the 21st of November starting at 9am and finishing at aroun...d 2-3pm . We will then be holding a General Club Meeting for all to attend after the days racing in the canteen were it will be air-conditioned. Let's make this a huge turn out for our last race day of the year , and try and better our last race day numbers Come out and make this day a really fun day with lots of laughs and fantastic racing , I believe our wonderful canteen will be running this day as well.
