What a spectacular way to fini...sh off the day with a 20 Lap KZ2 Final. Congratulations to all the Karters that made the podium , A special thanks to Hobbo and all our Officials, Volunteers and Helpers who made the event possible. 20.01.2022 What else can we say but THANK YOU!! So many amazing helpers again today...and practically everyday with some of our guys spending more time at the track than a...t home!! We will be forever grateful for each and everyone of you who have helped us over the past couple of months... all help big and small has helped us to get to this point! We had a huge day today, it is stinking hot out here at Wingham and it must be atleast 40 plus!! More tyres stacked and bolted, ripple strip's concreted, canteen cleaned out, pressure cleaning done, track edges back filled, mowing and whipper snippering done, rocks and sticks picked up, raking done... just to name some of the jobs happening today. A HUGE effort, well done everyone ... can't wait to see you all on RACE DAY

18.01.2022 Canberra Kart Racing Club grows to 600 Members In 2019 CKRC set out on the journey to attract more members to the club and have its facilities enjoyed by as ma...ny karters possible. Back in August 2019 the CKRC membership was a little over 100, it has now reached 600 members and growing. Many factors have contributed to this achievement CKRCs Membership Liaison Manager, Brett Staples said. Certainly the attraction of the fantastic new facilities here at Circuit Mark Webber has been a major contributor, but there has been other factors too. The decision to make the membership affordable was also a big reason. At only $100 a year, which equates to $1.92 per week. Added to this you can practice Pretty much anytime 9am to 5pm Monday to Sunday when the track isn’t hosting events. I think that makes excellent value for money. CKRC President, Bob Harnas , the man behind the push in growing the membership, said Karting NSW hard work in continuing to bringing the cost of Karting down also cannot be ignored as a reason for the growth. One of the exciting things to come out of this is a steady growth in Novice and Rookie fields along with new commers to the senior classes. Further proof that the changes KNSW has put in place are working. This is a great sign for the future of the sport and especially here in the Nations Capital. 16.01.2022 KNSW together with Port Macquarie Kart Club has decided to extend the time competitors have to enter the KNSW STOWE NSW State Sprint Titles which are to be held at Port Macquarie on 6-8 November 2020. Entries for this event will now close 11:59PM Tuesday 3rd November 2020. We confirm that today, Queensland Health has advised that Queenslanders are permitted to visit Port Macquarie (which is outside the deemed hotspot - 32 LGA Greater Sydney) and can return to Queensland wit...hout additional quarantine/travel by air requirements. Accordingly, we now look forward to welcoming all Queensland competitors to the KNSW Stowe State Titles. KNSW and the Port Macquarie Kart Club look forward to welcoming competitors for this blue-plate event

09.01.2022 The Board of Karting (New South Wales) Inc today has released Requests for Expressions of Interest for its 2021 New South Wales State Sprint Titles to be held 1-3 October 2021 and its inaugural launch of the 2021 Australian Kart GP to be held 12-14 November 2021. These events will be both sanctioned by Karting (New South Wales) Inc.

08.01.2022 Shoosh for Kids is a collaborative effort between the Office of Sport and State Sporting Organisations to promote positive behaviour to their members, clubs and associations. The general rule is, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. Shoosh for Kids' focus is to keep sport focused on fun so that kids continue to enjoy participating in sport. The purpose of the campaign is to support grassroots sports in providing positive environments for their members, whilst... also addressing issues which arise from poor behaviour including: Abuse to officials Reduced volunteer numbers Reduced participation rates (due to poor experiences/non-enjoyment/too competitive) We ask you all to support the "Shoosh for Kids" message at all Clubs and KNSW Karting Events!
