24.01.2022 Wow what a weekend it was. A huge thank you to all our Officials and Volunteers. Without all of them we wouldn't have been able to go racing across three days. ... Thank you to all the drivers for putting on some great racing. It made for great spectating and you even put on a show for the pub visitors. A massive shout out to all our sponsors. We had a huge amount of prizes on offer and these wouldn't have been made possible without your support so thank you. And to Kev the noise Davies commentary who stood out in the hot sun to bring us coverage for the entire weekend. You certainly bring the noise and the atmosphere. I am sure everyone can't wait to see the photos and videos We hope to see you all more often at our events. Save the date for our Mother's Day race meeting May 9.

22.01.2022 Well what a weekend we had with 104 drivers make the trip over the hill for our 4SS Triple Crown and Vintage display. A big thank you to all our volunteers as w...ithout you we can't go racing. We had some new faces which was great to see so thank you your help is very much appreciated. We hope you all had a wonderful weekend and hope to have the vintage and 4SS drivers back again in November. Unfortunately there were some things out of our control which caused the meeting to run later than usual and we apologise for that. SAVE THE DATE for our November 7 & 8 Noisy Tour event which will see all classes race: - Qualifying for every class - Two day meeting (meaning an earlier finish on the Sunday) - Double direction (one direction Sat & reverse the next) - Same $75 entry fee - Social evening Sat night - Lots of laughs and fun Keep an eye out for when entries open as you don't want to miss our last official race for the year.

06.01.2022 STATEMENT: AUSTRALIAN KART CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND THREE South Australian COVID-19 Cluster Forces Championship Cancellation Round 3 of the 2020 SP Tools Australian K...art Championship presented by Castrol EDGE will not proceed and no Champions will be declared for 2020. The decision to halt the Championship has been made due to the current COVID cluster in South Australia and the responses to that that are being made both in that State and by numerous other State governments. Our priority since we announced the revised event dates in August has been to try and complete a three Round Championship, said Karting Australia CEO Kelvin O’Reilly. Our planning for the last round was in very good shape until the South Australian outbreak became apparent on Sunday evening. The fact that a number of State Governments have immediately decided to shut their state borders with South Australia or Adelaide, combined with the ongoing Queensland border restrictions covering Victoria and Sydney, makes it impossible to run the last round. Our focus will now turn fully to 2021. I would like to thank the Karting Australia affiliated clubs that worked with us to provide multiple host venue options for Round three. The challenges of operating a national sport and national events in the COVID era are enormous. Sometimes having multiple contingencies planned is just not enough and that is the case on this occasion. The safety and wellbeing of our karting family and the community at large is the singular most important thing, and we will never deviate from that. The schedule for 2021 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE will be released in due course. Ends

04.01.2022 GLADSTONE KART CLUB season is kicking off soon , GET INVOLED - ENQUIRE NOW !! Go-karting is a fun, adrenaline-infused activity to enjoy with friends and family.... Not only is this a fun and interactive activity, but with experience you can learn great reflexes, safety and also learn how to control your car. Fun activity: Go-karting doesn’t need any prior experience, but it is just as challenging as learning a new sport. Children can learn safety rules and how to maneuver a car by driving a go-kart. This can later prepare them for driving an automobile. This is also a great outlet for kids that are interested in racing and other motor sports. Safety: Go-Karting is a safer option for beginners who are interested in racing. Go-Karting also comes with a lot of safety rules and if all the rules and regulations are followed correctly, it can be a very safe activity for all ages. This can teach kids of all ages how to follow and abide by road rules. Better reflexes: The Go-Kart race track is laid out in many tricky patterns. One minute it’s a straight road and then it twists and turns in many different ways. While racing with a go-kart, you have to learn how to maneuver through the track. This can really test your skills on reflexes. Controlling a car: Being able to control your go-kart while paying attention to your surroundings will make you a better driver in general. Connect with your family: Go-karting can be a great activity for all family members. It can also bring your family closer. But above all, laughing and having fun with your family is the most rewarding benefit. Adrenaline: While on the race track, right before the light hits green you get a sudden adrenaline rush because of the thrill and excitement to race. Team building experience: Go-karting can be a great way to get all your employees or your group to interact with each other. It puts everyone in a fun, interactive environment with no worries. Fun for all ages: Whether you are 7 years old or going on 60, go-karting can be a fun experience for all ages. Confidence builder: Go-Karting can be a great confidence booster when you learn the tricks like vehicle control, driving techniques, and other skills. Career starter: Most racers start of with go-karting because of the simplicity of it. Since it is a pretty small vehicle, it is also easy to transport. A go-kart is also not as complicated as a racing car. Go-Karting is a great outlet for those interested in racing because it’s simple, cost-efficient and a safer way to start training for the real race tracks. If racing is your passion, go-karting is a great starting point for YOU!! See more

There will be no pitting Friday morning-unless pre-organised and confirmed with myself. Please remember-all cars and vehicles are to be parked outside the fence of IKC. You are to carry what you need in. We have a large number competing and do not want to be congested or chasing people who have parked in areas that are needed for the purpose of the event.
